My 04 Civic was an Si-G, which as far as I know, is the Canadian SI in a coupe, not the hatchback like in the US. It had the 1.7 V-TECH.

Get the build sheet from the dealer. Or Honda.

In doing a Carfax on a vehicle I was looking for, it showed it as an LS model with that VIN, when it was advertised as an LTZ model.

When I got the manufacuter build sheet for that VIN from the dealer, the LTZ package was added on late, I think after the VIN had already been created with the LS trim..something like that.

Usually those models should be built and listed at thier correct trim level, but as my experience showed in this case, the only way to tell in the actual manufacuterers build sheet (which Honda Canada should have) if some last minute trim/package adjustments were made.

USA Si = Canadian Si-R
US EX is very similar to a Canadian Si

Only Canada had the goofy Si that wasn't actually an Si.

I thought this topic was going to be about someone buying a Lexus, only realizing afterwords that it was actually a Ford. Darn.

The only race there is to see which engine explodes first.. Ugh.

Unless you're referring to the 69' which means you have way too much money
