looking forward to helping my son out in a few years making stuff like that. Too much fun!

I have a 3D puzzle of a Star Destroyer. Let me tell you, that thing was an absolute bitch. It took over 6 months to make, it was 10,000 pieces in 10,000 different shades of grey.

We have tons of Lego in our house.

Both mykids got Lego for every birthday and Christmas all their growing up years.
We still have all of it.
The Knights sets were awesome, the Harry Potter sets, the Star Wars sets, the soccer field and players, even some funny Sponge Bob sets. Those are definitely the kind of toys that they will always keep, hopefully they take it all with them when they eventually leave!
Plus my youngest has just about every Thomas train that was available while he was growing up, plus all the track and accessories. That kid was seriously obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine. He always had one in each hand whereever he went.

Lego and Thomas, made Christmas gifts easy when they were little.
