I'm pretty sure everyone here knows you're not going to go at any costs, or encourage drunk driving, or make stupid risks, I just think some of the language makes people worry about bad judgment.

Ah fair enough. I guess what I mean by that, is they can chill at the table and have a couple over the course of the night, I wasn't trying to suggest that they have 4 or 5 beers and then say "nnaaaww I'm all goods to drive boys, lets go!!!" But you make a good point, if it's someone we've never met before, they might sit around the table, have 3 or 4, then say they're fine, only to crash and kill someone. Actually, I don't think I could live with myself, if I let them drink and then they killed someone.

I'll get you next time Gadget!
|
Are you renting a van? Or is said driver supposed to have one that'll fit you all??
Also, where is the "pub of choice" going to be? Like what part of the city.
I'd consider it. I don't have any plans to drink as I'm moving the next day. But I don't have my own transportation so something would have to be worked out to get my ass home as well!

Cool, yeah wasn't trying to be the wet shirt, I was just trying to show why some people (myself included) were starting to throw out a few warnings. We know most was in jest, we're not that slow...
I'd offer myself but I won't be able too.

We're getting the van, as for the pub, we haven't really discussed that yet. What part of the city do you live in?

wow.. renting a 15 person van from budget is more expensive than an RV... except I doubt an RV is a viable option. Someone has to know someone who can lend us a van for the evening... my only concern is fitting 10 people + 10 bags + 20 sticks....

Alrighty, 50 bucks and 25 for gas and i can get a guy to haul our equipment there and back assuming we can pack it all in the back of my truck, being a long box i would think we would be able to get 10 bags + sticks in there.

So now it's just a matter of a reliable vehicle? And has the other team responded? IE: Are they fielding a team?

So we basically just have to find someone with a vehicle capable of seating 9 or 10 people now eh?

As long as your equipment is taken care of, why not just book couple cabs?
