Well thats clearly a silly argument. If you dislike them of course you won' t like the show. I think they put on a great funny show.

For example, I think Thursday is about the worst band I've ever heard. I saw them live once, and wow, I thought they were the worst band I've ever heard. Although I didn't know who they were when we walked in as they had already started.. They were awful..

As far as the new album goes I find it pretty lame. The unraveling, and revolutions per minute were awesome awesome albums. Downhill since, although I will say the 4th album was better than the third..

Its reminding me of AFI.. They put out several VERY VERY good albums. Shut your mouth and open your eyes, black sails in the sunset, and The Art of Drowning. They got a little popular with the art of drowning and each album since has been worse than the one before it. At one point my favourite band I downloaded the last album and deleted it within the day, after listening to it several times.. Terrible...

There is a great show on Saturday night. SNFU!

Also this past Monday was one of my favourite shows of the year so far
FLOGGING MOLLY! Great great show.

I have two words to say about this show.

Sage Francis.

I urge everyone to show up early and check this guy out. He's kinda an odd fit on this bill. I hope all you punk rockers don't heckle him. I'll be rockin' my Sage hoodie at the front of the stage!

Still some mixed feelings on it for me. Maybe it was the fact that their first single they released (re-education through labor) totally blew me away with how good it was, then collapse took be back to the good old days. Of course, those 2 turned out to be far and aways the best 2 songs on the disk.

Of course maybe it just has to do with expectations. I probably like about 6-7 of the songs on this disk as opposed to at least 11 or 12+ on the previous 4.

Anyone else going tonight? Should be a great show, it sucks that we have to miss the Flames game though.

Wish I was going, but I'm not. Meh, already seen them four times, and I'm sure they'll come back to Calgary sometime next year since they seem to roll through here every year.

Wicked show last night.. Two cat fights broke out right beside me!

I wish the line to get in was a little more organized.. 2 hours to get in was a tad rediculous..

That line was ridiculous. They open up 6 doors for how many thousand people? Doors were at 7, I didn't get into the venue until after 9. And I have to deal with it all again tonight at Disturbed...

I didn't see any fights, but there was one pair of friends who were acting pretty tough with anyone who tried to walk by them. I thought they were going to get it. But the hilight was some short emo lesbian spilling beer on a hot girl, and then trying to lick it off her while hotness was losing her mind.

As for the show, it was great! That was my second time seeing them, and they're fantastic live. My only gripe is that I was hoping they would have played more from the new album. Of my four favorite songs from that CD, they didn't play one of them. But that being said, they have more than enough good stuff to fill that void.

Rise Against was wicked, but that was the most poorly run show ever. The line to get in was absolutely ridiculous, we got there by 7:00 to try and get in and then decided to go to the Casino bar for 2 hours and come back rather than wait in that ridiculous line.

The corral is like that for all of their shows.

When I saw Queens of the Stone Age people in line were freakin out because they thought they were gonna miss the show the line was so long.

They have about 3 search people and 2 ticket scanners for like 5000 people.

We did the same thing. We got there at 8 and the line started upstairs by the grain museum. We came back at around 9:30 and walked right in.
