I would ignore the email completely. If you had a friend who was getting married chances are you know what the name of their fiance was.

She deserves the same courtesy she showed you, if she with-held her fiance's name then you owe her the courtesy of not replying to the email.

Create an email at www.spambox.us to repond. Either she is nucking futs or it is a spammer.

Just ask who she (and who her boyfriend is) is, since you don't give out your info to unsolicited emails, you want to verify their identity. Once you figure out who her boyfriend is, warn him.

See, that's why I wrote my response the way I did. Sure, the fight that it causes will leave him hurt and confused, but even if he doesn't know it, DS would have done him a favour. It's like being a guardian angel...

Seriously, my reply would probably be something along the lines of: "Given you didn't say who your fiance was, I can't tell you how I know him. And really, I shouldn't have to. If you plan to marry this guy, then you should trust him enough to understand that he has contacts you aren't necessarily familar enough with. Or, you can trust him enough that if you ask him, he'll tell you."

Usualy when i get spam it's something like "hi blah blah blah, i saw your profile online and thought we could meet up, i'm only X miles from you, blah blah blah"

this one sounded a little more personal, and yes i'd respond to her with some really mean comments. hopefully the guy she is with dumps her snooping ass and finds someone who he can trust

Still haven't replied .. but then again I just woke up. I'm pretty sure I know who her fiancee is, he had a couple LNAH jerseys I wanted(the location on her myspace page did the trick).
