Neither of these teams are going to the Superbowl with defences like that.

In the NFC they might. I'm pretty proud of my birds tonight. Only losing by 4 points to heavily media-felated Cowboys. Not only that but they hang in their without their top two receivers and only lose because of an unlucky play between McNabb and Westbrook. I can guarantee the D won't be as leaky in the rematch in Philly.
EDIT: And McNabb is back.

That game was interesting as hell. A bit of defense would have been nice, but there sure was a little bit of everything out there.

Yep. By all means that is a game the Eagles should have won if that's a clean exchange. That's a 1 in 100 screw up between McNabb and Westbrook. The defense, especially the pass defense was shaky, but like you say that will be patched up for the most part. Almost zero pressure on Romo, that was the difference.
37 points with Baskett, Jackson, Avant, and Lewis as your receivers is just unreal. Those guys are serviceable, but Curtis and Brown can't get healthy soon enough.

It has been a very interesting season so far, did not expect that many points to be scored last night, I thought that maybe the Eagles would pull through and get the win.
I had picked the Cowboys to win and I needed the game so it was hard to watch.

So Romo fumbling the ball in his own endzone was due to to the massive psych-out skills of the Eagles defenders as opposed to being an unlucky play? In the end the turnovers were equal. Unlucky plays happen and last night it wasn't just the Eagles who commited them.

It was such a strange sequence - it almost looked like they deliberately fumbled the ball in an attempt to throw the game.

I didn't say the Cowboys didn't deserve to win. My point was that the Eagles hung in there with them when they supposedly had no business doing so.

According to who? Everything I saw said to expect a tight game and that the Eagles match up very well with Cowboys.

They're not my fave, but they're definitely in my top 5. I love watching the Cowboys. And we seem to get alot of their coverage here in Calgary, so it's sorta by default. Like the Pats and the Seahawks.

I'm kind of in the same boat. The Cowboys aren't my number one all time favorite team but they're probably in my top 30 or 32.

I think the Cowboys are one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the NFL myself. They're not a favorite team of mine per se, but they are a team I like to watch. They aren't shy about throwing the ball down the field, and Marion Barber is an entertaining back. Plus love him or hate him TO can put up the big plays and will always do something odd. They have a lot of play makers on offence, and their defence at times lets other teams play makers show case their skills.
