I hate to break it to you, but the whole first half (probably more) of the season has already filmed. So I don't think if Johny's girl was going to stay, they would go back and re write/film all those episodes. Waste of money.
lol ya I should've explained myself better, I meant I dont think she's going to be a longterm character. I didnt mean they'd go back and chop her out just because most people weren't liking her. I went back and re-read what I wrote, I totally see how it sounded that way.
As for her, I just have a feeling she's gone. It seems like too annoying of a schtick to keep up constantly for future shows, with him always walking around with a Mac in his arms. I thought it was pretty funny(and perfect, considering Drama's character) how they wrapped her up though, that it turns out Drama was the crazy partner, not her.
That ending was awesome. At first I thought Drama was going to ruin everything, then it looked like they were actually going to pull it off. Then he puked, hahahahaha. The look on Vince's face at the end was great.... sort of a "Oh god, not again, why can't I get a break?" look.
So what was the deal with Davies? Why wouldn't he fight Ari? Am I missing something that happened in a previous episode?
I don't think his surrender related to a previous episode. They've always had bad blood since the Terrance incident, but outside of that, nothing that would make him wanna give up. I just think Davies thought he would get his ass kicked by Ari given at how pissed off he was.

I dont think there was any backstory to it, I think he just knew Ari was pissed and is tougher, and Davies would get his ass kicked if they scrapped, so he backed down.
I heart Drama, its great to see him back to "normal" again. Agreed with BlackArcher that first you think he's gonna destroy the party, then you see he's actually making it better...then oops! He pukes on the cake. Hahaha I love it! The skanky spoiled 16 year old's comments were priceless too.
Another solid episode in what is shaping up to be a great season so far. Should be interesting to see what happens with Eric and his now studio picture, in terms of Vince.
Davies backed off the same way when Ari confronted him at that beach house party. I'm guessing he's just a wuss.
Yeah, that was Weinstein, but that scene was pure magic.

I think watching the scene is better than reading it.
(but some props, that stuff I wrote above is from memory.....and I was very close to getting it all.........I think I have seen that episode literally 15 times)
Haha ya that scene is pure gold, arguably Ari's best rant ever. Actually I was robbed of that scene the first time I watched that episode, as back in the summer I was renting seasons 1-3, and when I watched that one, the disc froze on that one scene and I had to skip forward to the next one. I'd try to rewind but it just kept freezing, the disc was scratched on that one part...probably from the previous renter watching that rant 50 times. It wasn't until almost a month later that I found it on Youtube and saw the comedic gold that I had missed.
