I don't think anyone can deny that they're one of the top ten teams in the world but they didn't look like it against Peru. It was a half a$$ed performance where the tie they got was more than they deserved.

On another note, I hope Riquelme is playing his last games as a national because he's frustrating to watch. He's the man when he's wearing the Boca colors playing in La Bombonera but as a national, way too inconsistent.

The game wasn't at the bonbonera because it was in Peru. Argentina looked horrible in the first half, Peru kept pressuring but couldn't finish. In all honesty Messi was the only Argentinian carrying the play consistently. Good on Peru to get the tie, especially after the ref missed what should have been a blatant penalty call against Argentina.

The game where Argentina tied it up with 10-men at home was against Paraguay. Tevez went sent off in the first half for stomping on someone's thigh.
