If you all would have bet opposite of me, you all would have done really well!

Week one is always a bad week to bet. You really don't know who's good, who's bad, who's not in sync yet. I still bet but in the first 2 weeks I bet less money and once I have a better feel for who's good, who's bad, who can't play on the road, than you can up the stakes a bit.

I warned you about the Browns over the Cowboys. I learned to never bet on the Chiefs. Either I over estimate how good they are going to do, because I want them to win. Or, like I did a few years ago, I think that they are soft and will lose to a lesser opponent (I bet $100 that the Texans would beat the Chiefs at 11-1, didn't happen).

I haven't had an issue for quite a while - my Niners suck.

Get rid of John York NOW!

There would be no value in betting against the Niners.

Does Sports Select have a game called "Toto" like out here in BC with the BCLC?

No it doesn't. I just moved to BC and was wondering what the hell Toto was. Good to know.

On another note, this week I have the Colts to cover a 2.5 spread against the Vikings and the Niners to beat the Seahawks straight up. $40 on each bet at pinnacle. Could win $150.

It's fun but hard as hell to win, but when you do it pays off. That's the only type of government gambling I do anymore. The odds for their moneylines and how "ties" work is bull****!!

Closets I have ever got was 12/13 and a handfull of 11/13 last year.

My opinion...
Hawks at home will beat the niners.
Hawks on the road will beat no one.
Colts will cover 2.5.

Yeah, the odds on the Niners were too good to pass up though considering it's a winable game for them.

I have to agree on the Colts covering that spread. Manning only threw for 61% last week in his first game since coming off an injury, playing at game speed and now having a week to practice will help the Colts against Minny. But then again anything can happen!

I can't believe that the Bengals are favored at home. Did the odds makers miss the game where a third string rookie QB ran a 38 yard TD against that Bengals D?

Why is Denver WITH Marshall such a big underdog at home?

I'm going to play this ticket:

IND 2.00, GB 2.00, NWO 2.45, TEN 2.55, DEN 2.75, NE-NYJ tie 3.10

$2 bet wins $426.08

And there's my ticket for the week as well. Might toy with that NE-NYJ tie in another ticket.

Ten 2.55, KC 1.7, GB 2.0, Min 2.75 x $20= $476.8

I should replace KC with the Jets.

And work it did.... nice bet.

My best pick of the week was throwing a 50 on a Tenn, NE, Indy combo at 7.08

I won several small bets that included the Pats.

Many thanks to the Colts for their late comeback... which enabled a very nice profit of just over $500 on the week, with about $100 in total staked. Chi late collapse cost me a couple hundred or so.

If every week was as nice, I'd be a happy man.
