Haha yeah, I just noticed that. Nice!
Hella quick, for sure. Now I'm really waiting for that Mac version.
Edit: Hmmm... I wish I could put the tabs at the bottom though. Having them all at the very top (while I like the idea) is not good, as I keep my WinAmp up at the top of my screen.

Check out shift+esc to see the task manager... once there, also try the link to the "stats for nerds"... Pretty interesting stuff (to me at least...)

Great Browser! The process setup is awesome. The lighting quickness of this browser is also great. It doesn't handle IE only pages very well not as good as firefox can.

I wonder where to get to some of the other settings. I personally prefer redirected links to open in the background.
Has anyone discovered the "about:config" equivalent for Chrome.

The one thing I hate is that it opens this new "New Tab" page that shows all your last history for the entire viewing world to enjoy! "Hey Joe, come into my office and watch me start up this cool new browser - pay no attention to my past pages viewed or bookmarks."

That is supposed to be the "most Visited" list, with the assumption that when you open a new tab it has a good chance that it will be a place you have been before.

That's pretty slick. How do you get it up there?
I'm using this Chrome browser right now. There isn't a "home" button. Other than that, it doesn't seem much different from Firefox.

There is a Home button, but it isn't on by default, it is a check box.
Look under Settings > Options > Basic > Home Page

I would actually classify that as a bug really.. You can drag it beyond the border of the browser and then eventually lose it!

The application shortcuts is a neat idea, but it doesn't really work well with the apps I've tried it with. If I create an application shortcut for google docs and then open up a document, that document is opened back in the main Chrome window, not in the application window.

Is there something better nowadays? I haven't really paid much attention.

It's cool in concept, but it does leave your history out in the open.
The problem is that there is no way to turn it off.

From my brief experience with it so far:
- I won't be using the "most visited" page as my home page, I've already switched that back to iGoogle
- The password storage is flawed as there is no master password (anybody can view the stored passwords)
- The porn mode ("incognito window") could be a useful addition - look for Firefox to add it in their next release
- I don't think I'll switch to Chrome until an AdBlock type add-on is available.
Basically it's got some nice features, has a nice clean interface, but doesn't really offer a compelling reason to switch away from Firefox at this time.

No idea - you're thinking it is a WebKit issue?
