God I hate that stretch of road. I used to take Gateway to whitemud to the 216, and now Anthony Henday just to avoid it. And when I'd rather go into Edmonton than take that road, you know it sucks!
I can see where you'd get nailed by that too. Similarly on the old Hwy 60 bypass west of Edmonton too, where there are two lights and an Indian reserve all at 70
