One glass of red wine every night. On a hot summer day I'll substitute the wine with a couple of bottles of cold beer. When I'm on holidays I'll substitute with lots of whiskey or spiced rum.

probably about 2 a week average. usually i stick to beer (keiths, guiness, hoegardden, zywiec ) but also drink the hard stuff on several occasions. If i'm starting to get a sore throat, a shot of whiskey seems to really help. If i wanna get messed up it's rye and ginger. And finally i do ocassionally like sipping on a really good tequila. I'm trying to get into wine but haven't really aquired the taste for it yet.

I like a cold beer on a hot summers day - especially after around of golf.
Don't have a taste for hard liquior so i don't drink it.
During the winter months i keep no beer in the fridge. I will have a beer or 2 at a friends or relative if they offer. Also at Christmas parties and other special events.
Other than beer, ice cold milk is my choice.

I've really cut back with the birth of my kids in the past 3 years. I'd say I drink maybe 3 times a month, usually on Wednesday afternoons when the wife lets me get away to the local tavern for $1.25 domestics. Coors Original please!

now that I finished the beer passport I can get back to the usual routine of having a beer when out with friends (usually a euro beer) and maybe a glass of wine when I'm out at the inlaws (currently my favorite winery is Larch Hills, just outside Salmon Arm. Not available in Calgary so it gives us an excuse to go BC side). In total maybe 4-5 drinks a month. So a very casual drinker.

Me=fish. I've never met a drink I didn't like, though some are a bit "disagreeable".
I have at least two drinks per night. Wine with dinner is pretty much mandatory. I've always got a bottle of Valpolicella on the go. Beer is also commonly found in my place.
For the nights that I only have one or two, there is usually a night that involves 6 or more. I justify my alcohol consumption by reminding myself that I don't eat junk food.
You know? I may beat my wife, but at least I don't call her a b1tch.

I agree completely, but I drink it straight and I sip it. Shooting it is a waste. Out of curiosity, what brands do you prefer. My faves are Glace, Gran Centanario, Herradura and Don Julio, in that order. The only problem is that I have to either special order those brands or bring them back from Mexico.
I also like single malt scotch and cognac for sipping.
Beer of course is a staple, especially in the summer ... Keiths, Dos Equis and Okanagan Springs 1516 mostly, and a few Bavarian beers as well. In the winter I tend to drink mostly rum and coke (Captain Morgan's Deluxe).
As for quantity, that really varies ... from one or two a day to one or two a week. If I'm partying I'll probably knock off a dozen or more beer, or a bottle of Captain Morgan's, but I probably only do that about 6 times a year. Unless of course I go to Mexico for a week or two, but I don't count that.

If I'm going out I like pretty much everything, I don't get wine at bars/restaurants but at home I drink red wine almost nightly.
I usually get jager and tonic, gin and seven up, or beer. When I buy beer for at home I usually buy black label, I like grasshoppers or most other beers when I go out.

I'm a beer snob. My favorite styles are porter and stout, but I'll give almost anything a try. My current favorites are Edmund Fitzgerald Porter by Great Lakes Brewing, Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout by North Coast Brewing, and St. Bernardus Abt 12, which is a Belgian Quadrupel.

WOW! I didn't know you could mix anything but Gin or Vodka with Tonic.
I guess I have a new mission for the weekend.

1-2 drinks per day for men has been shown to be very good for your health.
I generally have a glass of wine with dinner. Sometimes a highball or cocktail later while watching TV. Started making my own wine, and having good success with that. Rarely drink beer nowadays - trying to lose weight.
Just went to the Okanagan, and brought back plenty of wine for the winter.

Beer: I love a cold Richards Red/White/Honey Brown or the equivalent from Sleemans or Big Rock
Wine: I have been drinking a lot of Shiraz lately, I love the extra spice. The Fiancee is partial to Cab-Sauv so we drink that as well.
Hard Stuff: Rye, with a splash of coke and a squeeze of lime.

Couple drinks after a hockey game during the week, other than that I try not to drink Mon-Friday as it tends to put pounds on the waist line and morning hangovers interfere with my workweek.
Weekends are usually a different story. They usually start with Friday pints, and end up with Friday poker night, and a Friday cab ride home.

I will have a beer or two or maybe some wine if we're out for dinner. At home, I'll have maybe a beer or two in the average week and usually then it's whatever's in the fridge (varies widely: Keith's, Raineer, Big Rock varieties, Corona, Heineken). There's always a bottle of scotch in the cupboard and right now I'm working on a Glenfiddich 12 year (nothing special, obviously). Had a big tumbler of that watching tv.
Once a month or so, my wife and I will get together with her family and then these averages kind of go out the window. For example, earlier in August we mixed a couple of pitchers of white russians and then dumped them into a slurpee machine. It was magical.

Beer, never had a taste for wine. Hard liquor doesn't agree with me (ie Habby is a jackass when he drinks hard stuff). I'll usually drink whatever is there, I prefer Molson Export or Fat Tire Ale. No more than a few per week, not much of a drinker since I quit smoking 6 years ago. I still want to smoke when I drink too much.

Beer.... and lots of it. I try to lessen the amounts but I ususally have one or two on weeknights and a case over the weekend. If there is a game to be watched, this can be increased greatly.
The beer is usualy Western (AB or BC breweries) like Big Rock, Tree Brewing, Shaftebury, Granville Island or Czech pilsners.
