I still remember listening to his show when it was on 660 (or was it 770?) at like 9pm back in 1997 or something. Back then he would rip on Nascar (or Neck-car as he liked to call it) all the time. I lost touch with the jungle for a few years and imagine my surprise when I'm listening one day on the Fan and he is singing the praises of Nascar! Blew my mind! I also don't understand he increased airtime for all things horse racing, just because he has a share in a few horses all his viewers have to hear about the sport more now?
But he still makes me laugh when I catch him on completely un-sports related takes. I also quite enjoy some of the guest hosts he gets, like the Brothers Sklar.
agreed. Man was he dishin it out last week, he played that clip like 50 times, I'm sick of it. Nice time to take a va-kay. Not to mention the guy who's replaced him this week(forget his name) is beyond brutal. Today's the first time in almost a month that I wasn't playing that station at work during Rome's show, I hate that dude. I tried to sit through it yesterday, but I was severly strug-gling.
