They didn't work. We heard this weird noise while watching TV... not sure if it was the wind or the Skunk but our garbage can was pulled over, and he was having a snack.

I opened the door, and threw an empty pop bottle at it. It went tail up, but nothing, went back to work. Then, I threw a 2L empty pop bottle at it. Same deal.

I then filled another bottle with ammonia, open bottle, and threw that at the skunk. It ran back under our deck. It's pissing me off.

Does anyone know anyone who works in pest control that would help a guy out. We don't have much expendable money kicking around, but I don't want to have to worry about getting sprayed, or my dog when I let him out.

Ammonia is not working.

Go out and mark you own territory. Show it who is bigger & smellier.

Introduce a natural predator, skunk problem solved. There are no adverse, lasting effects in this method at all...

http://www.getridofthings.com/getridofskunks.htm this page has a good point, the skunks are finding food. Take it away.

My neighbor used the live trap to trap the skunks that lived in our area and then uhhhhh, let him go somewhere else
