It will be interesting to see what kind of adjustments the Riders make. Did I hear this right? They have 5 guys with broken legs?

Copeland with the tip ball and the 2nd INT for the Riders, not Hank's fault. Too bad, they were marching that ball all the way down the field again.

A great 3/4 for the Stamps. 30-4 going to the 4th.

Freaking Riders are getting lucky with the tip-in. DBs for Stamps just tipped in the ball to Bowman for a TD. Chris Cuthbert was saying it was a nice throw by Crandell which b/s. Bad throw and thanks for the lucky bounce Riders scored.

They really do and have been getting most of the breaks in their games. I am not saying they shouldn't be 6-0 but sooner or later the bounces start going against you.

Ugh...
That is all.
Terrible. Blocked punts suck. Where is the O-Line?

good call on the last play. Get the time count penalty to run the clock to 3 seconds.
Ugh... i was telling my nephew that if the Riders end up winning the game, I will shave my head because those Riders were getting all the lucky bounces. I thought they will still get the lucky bounce at the end.

It was hilarious to hear that homer Glen Suitor blow smoke up his Riders asses for "battling" at the end.
The Riders were only somewhat in the game near the end because of one of the flukiest TDs you'll ever see followed by a complete and utter blown coverage on the blocked punt (the Riders did absolutely nothing to create that play - it's pretty easy to block a punt when you let an interior lineman untouched).

I agree!! Crandell is just Crandell... always crappy and lucky. All Stamps has to do is stop Cates. He was not a factor at all tonight. Riders started moving the ball when Jojuan Armour went down (again!). Cuthbert and Suitor was actually annoying tonight once the Riders scored a flukey TD. The two of them keep on going especially Riders scored another on a blocked punt.
Oh well, the better team won!

Ya.. well I have never quite understood why people hate Rider fans so much. I guess I can't understand why people hate Flames fans so much either. Passion for your team is never something to be ashamed of.
That was a great game for the Stamps, it was nice to bring all of the show boaters back down to earth at the end there. Were missing our three best receivers, Chick who is our Armour, our starting returner, corner backs..etc..
The injuries are adding up, but this team is playing great even down half their starters, so I can't wait to see what we play like when we are healthy. 6-1 isn't a bad start to the season.

They're the most arrogant sports fanbase I've ever seen.
And don't give me that crap about passion. Most people who claim themselves to be Rider fans are doing simply because they're from the province and couldn't name more than 3 players on the team. Getting drunk and throwing a watermelon on your head has nothing to do with passion for a team. It's hilarious to see all these TSN clips of idiots wearing masks and helmets to the game last night - a fan who actually cares about the game would much rather see the game unobstructed then to show off how hardcore they are.

You know I don't really hate the Riders whatsoever. I hate BC and Edmonton much more. Who could argue with the free 2 points you'd get everytime you visited Regina every year until a couple of years ago. In fact in 2001 when the Stamps last won the grey cup if it weren't for 5 victories over Saskatchewan they wouldn't have even been in the playoffs.
I'll admit in recent years the fans have gotten annoying due to their recent sucess (Much like Red Sox fans trotting around all cocky like their team was as successful long term as the Yankees after winning the World Series in 2004), but they'll come back down to Earth in a few years when inevitably they get bad again like every other franchise has to deal with. Now's a good time to be a Rider fan, defending cup champions and first place so far this season. Let them have their fun, and they'll soon realize that in the CFL a "lesser" team can always (and often does) end up winning the Western Final.

Exactly. It isn't enough that the media spouts all that BS about how great they are, Rider fans themselves never stop telling how great of fans they are and how every other fan base sucks.
Combine that with their Oiler fan like abililty to project their team and players as the greatest team/player in history every year while completely throwing any former player under the bus the minute they leave Regina and it is easy to see why Rider fan is hated so much.
Now that they are doing okay recently their constant need for everyone else to validate their success is getting annoying as well. Any talk that the Riders haven't been Superstar-esque on their run this year immediately gets Riders fans panties in a knot.

The thing is, that's almost never how it works in sports. When the Flames go on a tear when Iginla and Regehr are out of the lineup, we automatically assume that once they get back in things will just get that much better. More often it's the opposite.
In an injury scenario, you get players playing for each other and being forced to play to their best every game....because, frankly, there is no other option. I think you will find with the Riders as they start to get bodies back there will be an even bigger adjustment than plugging the reserves in. Just my $.02

It's all the green F&*% Calgary shirts that did it for me.
