I would go see U2 again. Would have also loved to have seen the ZooTV tour.

Has it been mentioned on this board that Queen is going on tour in the new year? Singer's going to be the lead singer of Bad Company. I dunno, that would be like going to see U2 without Bono...just doesn't work really.

AC/DC or GNR
AC/DC is one of the best shows I've ever seen and G 'n' R is quite possibly the worst. Had front row centre seats at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto at the height of GNR hype, and they proceeded to put out one of the worst shows I have ever seen. [/b][/quote]
I had a great time at a GNR show...I wasn't expecting to, because my seats were actually behind the stage. However as a result I was witness to some of the most outrageous behind the scenes rock star antics I have ever seen. that was worth it, in and of itself

I'd have to say The Who with Keith Moon on drums. I've seen the Who in concert but obviously not with Moondog on drums....also, I'd love to see Peter Gabriel again just for the sheer spectacle of his shows.
good call. seeing the who, circa say 1967 in a medium sized club would have been quite something

Gabriel was one of the better shows I've seen

Yeah. Without Freddie it just doesn't cut it.

I've pretty much knocked off every active band on my list...I'm still waiting for the Zeppelin reunion with Dave Grohl on drums though.
I was living in Edmonton, summer of 1991, about 3 months prior to the release of Nevermind....Nirvana played a show at the Bronx there (I think it was)....my buddy and I were really thinking of going, although we did not know much about the band...instead we got talked into doing something else (which I'm sure involved drinking about 100 beer), and like I said about 2-3 months later Nirvana was the biggest band in the world...I'm sure they played Calgary on that same tour? did anyone go?

They played the Westward Club.
I wish I could have seen that show.

I was kicking myself for missing that show as well. I was down visiting my then-girlfriend who was going to UofA. We talked about going and then ended up doing something else. Crap.

Saw them in Switzerland shortly before Kurt killed himself.

It was a great show and glad I was able to make considering it was obviously the last time I would have had to seen them.

I saw a great GNR show around that time. They played for more than 2 hours, brought a couch on stage and played the famed "acoustic set", had a bunch of low-rent strippers (tassles!) serving beers and pizza to the band and the people in the front rows, 2 encores. Good stuff. This was in Edmonton though so maybe they felt more comfortable as that is a recognized headbanger epicentre.

The band I would most like to see is probly The Clash.

Both my sister and a guy I went to college with went to the show in Winnipeg and said they did the same thing.

Neil Young and the Santa Monica Flyers - Tonight's the Night Tour in Winnipeg 1973.

You don't want to know what I would do to see that show.

Not a band, but Michael Jackson back when he was black would have been amazing.

Godspeed You Black Emporer. Their live shows are supposedly amazing but to the best of my knowledge they've never come to western Canada.

Velvet Underground would have been great in concert.
