I don't like to sit in front of the tv, I sit at a pretty extreme angle, if not right beside the tv, so I can see what's happening off-camera.

Yeah, I'd be embarassed if I was watching Frasier too.

But, whenever I watch sports, during replays, I barely watch the play itself, I always watch crowd reactions, whether it be good or bad for the home crowd, I find their reactions priceless, nothing makes me happier when I watch Canuck games when I see idiot Canuck fans throw their hands into their face in disgust.

Haha that's totally me too. I remember when I was younger, like 10-14, I really, really wanted hockey to become a huge hit in the States, so I'd especially watch the U.S. home crowds when their team scored a goal. For some reason, I got alot of joy seeing a non-hockey market crowd get so happy over a hockey moment. But now I don't really give a crap about that anymore. I still love watchin the crowds though, you're right, it's funny to see the opposing crowd go nuts when Iggy pots a clutch late goal.

Another one is I love watching moments in sitcoms when the actors have to stand there awkwardly while they wait for the either live or canned audience to stop cheering/laughing/etc. They just sit there and stare at each other, I get such a kick out of it.
PS- Frasier got really lame once Niles and Daphne finally hooked up, but before that I thought it was pure gold. Such an underrated show.

Whatever I'm watching I am very quick to spot left-hander people
and I also cannot stand to watch embarassing or tough moments, I always have to close my eyes or squirm around with discomfort.

I'm with you 100%. One reason (among many) that I can't watch american or canadian idol. I can't even stand the highly skilled ones because most of what they do is just so cheesy.
This is also the reason I can't go to karaoke bars. So awkward for me.
I'm racking my brain but I can't think of an odd thing that I do in front of the tv. i can think of inappropriate things, but nothing odd.

Wow, I'm surprised. I honestly thought I was probably alone on that one. I find it so uncomfortable, even though I know it's contrived and scripted.
The funny thing is, stuff like America's Funniest Home Videos doesn't bother me, although in that case people are putting themselves on display and I think that makes the difference. I think I'm just attuned to social awkwardness more than embarassment per se. (Although, I agree karaoke makes me feel the same way, and is to be avoided. It's actualy kind of hard to figure out)
I can watch American Idol, but if it's a bad performance,I will change the channel because of that uncomfortable feeling. A good performance, I can enjoy.
