If memory serves, you can actually exceed the number of seatbelts passenger wise assuming all the seatbelts have been used up first. Not sure what kind of vehicle you can pull that off in but I have confirmed this with the police in the past. I'm thinking station wagon type scenarios.

I think the rule is that if a passenger is over 18 and isn't wearing a seatbelt, it is the passenger who would get the seatbelt ticket. By adding this condition, it shifts the responsibility onto the driver as well.

Okay, since i didnt want to start a new topic and this is related, I am going for my "advanced road test" tomorrow and just want to know what to expect.
I heard it is just pretty much driving, and no parking at all.
I also heard that you have to point out hazards, I know them but want to make sure of what you guys said so that you passed. I also read that you have to inspect the car first? If so what type of stuff does that include?
I'm not worried about it, just want to know what to expect, thanks

Anyone know if the fully licensed person can be intoxicated? I understand the driver can't have any alcohol but just wondering if they can be a DD for the fully licensed person.

Wow, with all the drugs and alcohol talk on CP it appears there are members younger than I would have thought.

Do they make you put the 'L' stickers on your car? I've never seen one in Calgary but I see them all the time in Vancouver.

Don't think so.
Seems to me the point is to have a competent driver with you and someone who is impaired likely doesn't qualify.

You have to get it, and hold it without any problems for 2 years before you can get your real drivers license.
