A few years back my buddy would always do it when we were hammered after the bar and would hit up Mac's for their subs. I tried it once when I was hammed, tasted pretty good! Tried it again sober, thought it was awful and have never done it since. Probably something you had to have gotten a taste for as a kid to like it.

Always have, always will, they say down in the states, you always get a side order of potato chips with your sandwich eh, I love Old Dutch BBQ (so hot!) I don't know why they stopped making Bacon flavour, they were my favorite and they were always sold out of them at the corner stores. I have a hard time folding Old Dutch these days as I have moved more East.

Fries on burgers, chips on sandwiches...
You guys have nothing on Pittsburgh institution Primanti Brothers.
Fries, coleslaw, and tomatoes on the sandwich:
...Personally, I never eat one of their sandwiches that way, but some people love it.

Anyone ever had the one at Tubby Dog, (I think it's called an atom bomb) that's one of their big hot dogs topped with pretty much a whole bag of crumbled potato chips, and then cheese sauce on top of that? First thing I thought of when I saw this thread.

I stumbled across a pretty awesome combo when I was at a house party once. There was a limited supply of food but I was able to find tasty crusty buns, PB and Cool Ranch Doritios.
It was AWESOME. Everyone looked grossed out but I made them try it and I ended up using all the buns :P
Don't knock it till you try it.

Only two things can give you the munchies so bad that you are willing to mix the tastes of ranch dressing and peanut butter, and one of them is pregnancy. It's obvious you know what the other one is.

I used to eat peanut butter and pickle sandwiches daily. I also like putting fries inside a gyro.
