Well, at an outlet store, you get the better price. Go to a regular LaCoste retail outlet or major department store in the States and you won't touch one for 50 bucks. That's the reason people wait in long lines at the outlets. To get last season's LaCoste for 50 bucks.

Geting off the plane in the DR a few months ago, there was also a Air France flight arriving at the same time, and the Frenchies came out, most with Lacoste stuff.

One older guy was head to toe, but I wouldn't call him trendy...this stuff all looked like the original hey-dey for Lacoste, from the early 80's, not the stuff you can buy now...for some reason I also pcitured him having a Renault "Le Car".

Not really my cup of tea...I appreciate good quality clothes and don't mind paying a bit more for it, but when it comes to something like polo shirts, the green alligator doesn't make enough of a difference.
