At least there are a couple of old school muscle representatives.

You should have gotten a pic of the R8 from the front as well.
Still, sweet pics.
Only 1 car in the whole line up that I haven't seen. That's the convertable with the tail pipes in about the middle of rear end. What kind of car is that?
Maybe next year there will be a Nissan GTR, Zonda or Koenigsegg.

First post, 7th pic down Kind of at an angle, but the front none the less.
And if I know the one I think you're speaking of, I believe that's the Spyker C8 Spyder - which I read is what Paris Hilton was in last year.

Damn, I didn't even know about this or I would have been down there for sure. The stickers take away from the cars but still nice to see. That Gallardo is sick!

Oh yes.. there it is it looks like there where 2 of them there no? Grey and Black? There is also a white one driving around town. I saw it parked out front of the office building next to my appt building. That is such a sweet car. It looks amazing, the styling is awesome, and the power is sick. Too bad it is an Audi and the drive would be boring. A car like that should provide you on the edge of your seat excitement.
Nice to see an Evo X there though.

Oh I agree, I looove the R8!
And I'm pretty sure the guy driving the Evolution X won the race in 2004, and another year I'm not remembering right now...!

And what's with the Hummer in the line-up?
Nice Superbird too. IIRC, that's Mr. Angry!

Meh, the cops could just follow them from the start or at the finish, or use the helicopters to follow any car with a bullrun decal. My alternative theory is that the route isn't published to test the navigational skills of the contestants.

It wasn't in the race, but I did see a General Lee driving around the Marda Loop area on Saturday. 01 sticker and everything. I didn't get a look at the roof though. It was pretty cool.

The reality tv show comes after (only have done one season so far).
In the reality tv series, there are 12 or so cars (2 people per car), they drive from point a to point b, they have a few routes they can take. There also "time bonuses" that they can pick up along the way.
At the end of the race, they have a challenge for teams, in a closed off area, where the crazy stuff happens.
Keep in mind, they know they are on public roads for the race part. There are also heavy penalties for people who are caught speeding. If you get arrested, you are disqualified from the race.
The challenges at the end of the day, and the time bonuses are the best way to win the event. So essentially, if you drive sanely, pick up some bonuses, and do well in the challenges, you should win the event.
