I hope you don't have to chase balls in infinite outfields in that one!

Since there are a bunch of people from my office, I'm going to pull rank and demand an infield position.

I played in CSSC last year and some diamonds had fences and some didn't. This bush league can be very tiresome in the field when we face a heavy hitting team. A couple games ago I found myself chasing down a ball well into a kids soccer practice . It could have been disasterous if a ball smoked an unsuspecting soccer player.

I used to play CSSC a long time ago, and I hated playing the outfield. I didn't know they played on diamonds with fences sometimes. That would be a huge step up for them.
Our Sunday league we had to play one week on diamond 13/14 at Optimist which is an open field...I never saw poor Flask (troutman) run so much. I think in one inning he had three "homeruns" hit past him. I italicise (sp?) because they are not real home runs.

You played fantastically in the infinite outfield last game. Far better than our previous left fielder.

Don't tell REDVAN that. His head's grown three hat sizes since I met him due in large part to all his pseudo-dingers.

Well, I was pretty cocky myself last week. I tried to play and pretty much guaranteed homerun(s) and didn't follow through. I do have the excuse of the torn MCL, LCL, cartilage that requires surgery, and the completly disrupted ACL. Not to make excuses of course!!!!
I was pretty close, I guess I hit the fence.
Still, I think I will guarantee homers for this week if I get in the lineup!

So true . However last game's mid-game slump had him pretty quiet for most of the night until he hit another in his last at bat.

A two conference league consisting of 8 teams. 4 in the North, 4 in the south
A 10 game regular season, where you play your conference twice and the other once each. Then playoffs.
The main obstacle is getting enough women for this league.....

Second last at bat. In his last at bat, he ended our 7th inning rally by flying out to that green and yellow girl.

loving the discussion so do we have anyone else willing to sign up yet? Should be a great way to practice your hitting for your regular teams as well as your beer drinking. Cssc rules state that they are not against drinking just dont want people to drink in public places and get caught

I believe you. This is the same guy who purposely lets cute girls get on base so he can enjoy their company.

As many on the CP central team already know, I'm lazy, so I'm not reading this entire thread.
What I have gathered is that another team is setting up for sunday nights.
I would be interested, and could probably get 1 more guy and 1 girl if need be. I mentioned to them that i was playing, and they said they would be interested in doing something like that. I'll see if they still are.
