The hardest part here is figuring out what is defined as long and short hair.

I'd say, FireFly, that your current hair length doesn't strike me as "short", and certainly does not give off a lesbo vibe.

From my personal view, I am of the group that thinks "the longer the hair, the better." Short hair doesn't scream lesbian to me, but it doesn't attract me either. And by short hair, i generally mean this length:

Yeah, honestly, who cares what someone might think or what stereotype they will throw your way. If someone is willing to write you off as a lesbian based on your hair, do you really wanna know them anyways?

Having said that, it really does depend on the person. I couldn't ever pull it off. The shortest I can go without looking stupid is just around chin length and even that's pretty weak. But that's me. My hair is really long right now, but I gotta cut it off soon. It's just too much maintenance.

Anyways, the point of my ramble here is you gotta find the length that works for you.

Well that's not the look I was going for, but when I say short hair, that's the length I'm talking about. My hair is not really long right now because it was that short two years ago. I just don't know if I should get it trimmed and styled or cut it right off.

I think short hair is okay unless it's like Joan of Arc short ... too short is rather butch. Like others, I prefer long hair, but long hair doesn't work for all women. Some women look better with shorter hair ... just not too short. Being a practical person, and having had long hair when I was younger, I can also appreciate the lower maintenance benefits of shorter hair. Basically, whatever works for you, as long as it's not too short.

I find long hair way more sexy than short hair but some women can still look sexy with short hair.

A good example is my friend. She has short hair and looks good but we both agree she looks alot better with long hair. She's tried growing her hair back a couple times the last year but always ends up getting it cut cause she says it grows too slow and gets to the point where she cant do anything with it and ends up just getting it cut. I keep telling her to just think of how it'll look when it is long again but she always ends up cracking and getting it cut.
