The island green ("Cliff Hanger") on #6 is a one that you wish you could play 18 times consecutively!

Anyone know of any good restaurants or things to do that may be off the beaten path. Actually staying in Fairmont. and photon I know I am stealing your thread, so there.

No worries, I was out by the time you posted anyway
Just got back, was a pretty nice trip, though I didn't realize summer in the mountains hasn't really started yet. Cold and single digit temps in the mornings in Panorama.
But it was a nice drive, and yea there were TONS of deer on 93 going in, even saw a bear.

Just got back on monday from a trip out there, ate at a place called HOODOO LOUNGE one night. Pretty nice place. Good food! Didn't do any golfing, but stayed on a course that looked nice. Can't remember the name.
Also did a nice bike ride from Fairmont to Panorama and back. Was gorgeous!! Swam in the lake a bit too. Wasn't to cold, we had our wetsuits.

Hmmm.. Saturday was nice, panorama was pretty warm, granted that was 60km into our bike ride - so that probably helped.
Saw a small black bear too, and yeah, tons of deer!

Yeah we got there on Sunday, it wasn't bad then but just got worse over the week.. or maybe that's just my perception.. we ended up spending most of our time away from Panorama between radium and fairmont, most afternoons it got pretty nice.

Yeah, we rode Saturday, Sunday was smokey/windy and gross so we didn't ride. Monday was stormy so we didn't ride. Those were the two days we spend swimming in the lake. Although Sunday later evening we did a nice hike up the mountain from our timeshare place to the hot-springs to the ski lodge and back. Was a nice hike and that kept us warm.
