All of us have our faults. Unfortunately for me millions of viewers are getting to see mine each week. I do not abuse Victoria,
what you see is a heighten version of stress and obsession mix with medication for a sickness called Sarcoidosis. What was stared as a publicity stunt turn in to an obsession to race and be first at any cost. This is a GAME and I set out to be the Villain to others not to Victoria. Victoria and I are working on our relationship to better our self and learn form our mistakes. I am taking full responsibly for my actions on screen. Please allow me to make the effort.

I am deeply sadden by the storyline that CBS went with. I am sorry for my actions, I am sorry to Victoria. Most all I am sorry to the Fans of the Amazing Race.

Jonathan

hmmm. nice try blaming CBS. hey, I admit these shows are selectively edited...but you know the network does show EVERY team crossing the finish line....if you take that opportunity to emotionally and physically abuse your wife, well they are going to show that

Heheh, I'll bet the heat's coming down on John from his dry cleaner to his Momma! The guy probably rates slighly below a puppy strangler right now.

I had heard a rumour that had Jonathan being all hopped up on steroids fighting off some life threating disease. Sarcodosis is not it, although a corticosteroid might not be an unusual course of treatment for it. Something tells me that's genuine personality, not roid rage....

This'lll do wonders for Victoria's career though, she's coming off as the heroine in all of this. Look for the Victoria issue of Playboy soon enough.....betcha Hef can't wait!

Big article on this in the Herald today - how much is too much for reality shows? I'm curious to see if now hyper-sensitive CBS will react to the outrage and show either a disclaimer or any parts of the film that shows Phil the host or AR staffers telling Jonathan to cool his jets.

EDIT - Just what does this mean exactly?
Victoria and I are working on our relationship to better our self and learn form our mistakes. I am taking full responsibly for my actions on screen. Please allow me to make the effort.

Counselling? An admission that he's a borderline abuser? In denial perhaps? Ironically, it's Victoria that can "trade up" right now, and Jonathan would likely have oto "trade down" a whole lot more....

What I don't understand is how the FCC gets all fired up and starts censoring everything because Janet Jackson's nipple made it onto live TV, yet they allow a blatant wife-abuser free reign on the Amazing Race. Makes no sense to me. I'd rather my kid saw a nipple (something he sees almost every day as we are a bunch of nudists ), rather than have him see a man forcefully shove his wife and emotionally abuse her to the point where she breaks down into tears. Just my opinion.
