If You Became Famous

This question reminds me of another question I've asked myself: how much money would I be able to keep secret?

To put it in context, one night a few of us were at a pub and my buddy (a VLT addict) went on an insane winning streak and raked in $2400. Afterward, me and the woman were chatting about how the whole gang suddenly nominated my lucky buddy as the payer of the tab, etc.

So I got to thinking... The odd time I buy a lottery ticket or a scratch ticket. And I wonder how much money I could win that I could just keep secret and therefore keep my mooching friends from asking to "borrow" a grand.

I think my limit is $100,000. Anything above that and I'd be taking my best friends and family for a week in Rome.


As for the original question, I could be famous and keep it a secret here. Of course, my post count would drop off significantly.

I'm not even what you would call famous but I have a bit of a public profile with what I do. People have dug into my posting history and used it against me. I had to change my username!

Good god, if I ever managed to be famous I'd be all over it. Hell, I'll throw a shout out to the CP on a song. I'm no one important now, but hopefully at some point we'll see. Stupid yankee dreams of being famous, man the media does a great job.....

I've always wondered about that. I knew your name changed but didn't know the reason. That's unfortunate.

Well WHEN my band gets signed I do not plan on starting a thread about it. But since I'm friends with some people on here I'm sure it would get out.

Famous people do not post as themselves, unless they are on their own site. I know this for a fact and I can't tell you how.
