As some here, I would like to believe that this substitute teacher isn't brought back because other reasons other than wizardry.

O.T. who is more interested in the reporter that posted this story?

Witch is close enough to a wizard.

Or maybe Jim is really Tim in disguise:

Humanity never fails to astound (and depress) me. This supports a theory of mine though ... if not for fools we wouldn't have a human overpopulation problem.

Like letting students use computers that aren't approved by The Man? Or teaching material other than the school board approved propaganda? That's even scarier than canning him for practising wizardry, which would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic.

What kills me is that people think the guy is actually performing magic. Christ, it's no wonder Americans have Homer Simpson as a role model.

I wonder if they'll burn him at the stake when he pulls a coin out from behind his lawyers ear during the wrongful dismissal suit?

Maybe the supervisor's name is Leeroy Jenkins?

Keep in mind this is a sub... not a full time teacher, who gives a crap if he or she follows a lesson plan, its for one day... in my school, when I was a kid... sooo long ago (I digress) the "man" seemed pretty happy with subs that lasted the day without crying and managed to put out all the fires we started.

Besides do you even need a reason to can a sub... don’t you simply not call them back or if you have to go through a service you simply request they send you someone other than Bob...

No I think you are giving them too much credit by assuming they had a legitimate reason for being stupid. I know it’s hard for people here who seem to be brighter than the average person, just try to remember CP’ers 95% of the world is waaaaaay more stupid than most posters here can comprehend...

No kidding. It was just a simple Cantrip. Heck you don't even have to be level 1 to be able to pull that off.
