I have no idea if those are the official wear that the athletes will wear or if it's just inspired stuff to sell to the regular public, but I agree with what most people have said here.
Personally, I'm not impressed with what HBC has done with their treatment of Team Canada wear. I think they've made them look cheap with a "mass-market" kind of look.
I think Roots did a way better job and was sad when I heard that they wouldn't have the contract for 2010. I assume HBC outbid all competitors by an ungodly amount in order to get the contract? I have a hard believing that they got it solely through the merits of their clothing line.

Homosexuals have far too much pride in their own fashion to ever wear something like that.
Blue Steel made me laugh, but it doesn't make up for that photo. I don't really mind the stylized maple leaf tshirt on the guy in the back, but those tracksuits are constructed of material only found in nightmares.

I have a hard time believing that the majority of the Team Canada Olympic team approves.
I like the eco-friendly, yet technologically advanced fabrics, but the color and design schemes make it look like they're wearing lacy, frilly-type things, and some of those outfits look like they should be pajamas.
If we're trying to emulate a weekend-at-home-type casual look, why not also do what New Zealand is doing and add some Crocs to the mix? They're the kind of footwear you wouldn't be caught dead wearing outside of the house, and Crocs has Canadian roots, right?

Dude.... those pants are ridiculous. I guess the hoodies kind of fit into the trend of printed materials, but in combination w/ the pants it makes the whole outfit look pretty floral even though they're aren't any flowers involved....
This is bizzarre. Hopefully the athletes will have some discretion over what items they have to wear and the printed top/combo w/ the headband will be avoided.
After looking at the stuff on HBC.com, the whole line isn't actually that bad. That one floral-print get-up should absolutely be confined to the same circle of fashion hell reserved for matching owner-dog outfits, but a bunch of those pieces actually look pretty good.
I would wear anything but the pants, I'll probably buy the T shirt. The hoodie would look good if it was surrounded by flat colours and not more prints.

I think some of the stuff isn't too bad, but like everyone seems to have said, that red/orange/pink floral looking tracksuit should be relegated to the back of the closet and never taken out.

They should've just given the contract to Lululemon. If you wanna go metro, you may as well get the best in the business. Jesus...
The hoodie's not bad, but other than that, pass bigtime. And I used to love buyin all the Olympic stuff too, I had a field day in '02. Bring back Roots!
Fine, I can see light materials for a hot Chinese summer may not be the most stylish and make you look somewhat sloppy being baggier and looser fitting, but there's nothing says that the designs (not even the hideous mix of zubazz pants, a hawaiian shirt gone wrong and Herb Tarlek patterns gone wrong) have to be so tacky...tshirts especially.
Nice. Anyone who works in a WKRP reference deserves to be recognized!
