Anyone catch the Justin Timberlake/Jimmy Fallon rap medley they did tonight?? That was pretty cool.
I'm not a huge Fallon guy by any stretch, I never liked him, but the show is so much better than it used to be. That's not saying a whole lot, but it's an improvement.
The music segments are always the strongest part of the show. Whether it's a duet with a guest like the Timberlake segment last night, slow-jamming the news with Brian Williams, Fallon's Neil Young impersonations, the Roots singing songs about various audience members, or a half-dozen other music segments. He's still one of the weakest interviewers on late-night (starts reminiscing about SNL days with so many of his guests) and his monologues are really hit-or-miss.
