This looks like its shaping up to be about as funny as the Mike Bullard show.

Jimmy Fallon isn't 1/100th as funny as he thinks he is.

Anyone catch the Justin Timberlake/Jimmy Fallon rap medley they did tonight?? That was pretty cool.

I'm not a huge Fallon guy by any stretch, I never liked him, but the show is so much better than it used to be. That's not saying a whole lot, but it's an improvement.

The show is getting better, and The Roots are reason enough to watch.

The music segments are always the strongest part of the show. Whether it's a duet with a guest like the Timberlake segment last night, slow-jamming the news with Brian Williams, Fallon's Neil Young impersonations, the Roots singing songs about various audience members, or a half-dozen other music segments. He's still one of the weakest interviewers on late-night (starts reminiscing about SNL days with so many of his guests) and his monologues are really hit-or-miss. Here's the timberlake segment from last night:

This is the best late night show around. We record it on PVR every night and watch the next day, if we don't stay up or miss it because of my hockey.

The show has definitely gotten better over time, and it took Jimmy a while to get into a groove

Wow i can't believe this show is still on. I watched it a few times when he first started and it was so awkward that you felt embarrassed for him.

A lot his humor is based around social media like Twitter and Facebook. This is probably only of interest to a younger audience.
