Mid-September? Is that International Talk Like a Pirate Day? Or the advent of the useless Facebook application "Pirates"?

Late December: "Dude I just got a Pirates of the Caribbean DVD for Xmas... best movie evah!"

That's odd- I wasn't able to find you (or at least it wasn't obvious) in my list of people FB wants me to add as friends.

Yay! I have my first Facebook stalker!

I keep my friend list relatively short, so I tend to get the same people popping up in the suggested friend column. You, my buddy's wife, my other buddy's dog, another poster here on CP... People that I'm sure I like, but I really don't know and therefore, I don't want to see their updates. No offence, of course!

I want to delete Facebook, but every time I try this calm voice comes out of the computer and says "I can't let you do that, driveway".

hahaha I know what you mean. I got a couple girls on there I know from way back who I havent talked to in years, their profile pic & status updates are pure gold. It sounds like one finds a new guy who she goes ga-ga over and then gets her heart broken every other week. Her name now is something like "Oh I love you forever, you're the best thing thats ever happened to me", with a pic of her and him kissing as her pic. By next week, I fully expect a "Is life worth living?" type update with a pic of a middle finger or something. Pure comedy!

Yup, facebook makes for a good viewing spot to watch other people's train-wreck lives. You just can't turn away!

The worst is "xxx misses her hubby and loves him so much and wants to cuddle with him and feel his breath"......Good god! Does everyone need to know that? SICK! Put that e-PDA crap away!

That's something I always found ######ed... You wouldn't go around telling every dick about your personal business, so why would you on facebook?

i have a couple of people, one who is married and seperated from her husband ( her husband is staying with me and my wife until they work it out) and my other friend is now living and dating with the chick who is seperated

FUnny thing is everytime something happens they put it on status updates and and even in bulletins on myspace. So everyone knows whats going on. Then they get mad at people and say , "people should just stay out of our buisness. No one should know what is going on in our lives!!"

pretty amusing , and really sad cause they are 28 and 29 respectively lol
