As KG and I have both shown this post-season we really don't have any clue how the sim works either.

Every year the SIM has a couple of huge upsets.... Its one of those things.

Not to mention if I remember correctly Mr Kolzig has won the CPHL cup before....

hey that just shows how awesome the Sabres are. we have a 24 million dollar player who isn't even our best AHL defenceman (Mike Green)!

luckily I negotiated Gilbert to a shrewd deal this summer, too bad I only got him for 2 years

Does the recent NHL signing mean Gilbert's rating will get bumped from 71 to say 79?

Yeah even though I was on the good side of the sim I think that this years playoffs have been crazy. Some upsets are just a bit wacky when you compare the teams.

In all honesty I think Gilbert is a solid young player but that is the worst contract I have ever seen.

I wanna give full credit to the underdogs that have made it through. I think that the sim is crazy and all, but its fun to watch as an outsider!
