This is so much fun to watch... I live in the very hilly neighborhood of Bankview. Watching all these cars slip and slide from up here on the 4th floor is hilarious. I love storms.

You're so lucky!
I was on hold for a cab for the girl for over an hour before someone came on and said they're not booking.
Jerks, takes an hour to tell me that?

I walk to work every day... takes about 20 minutes. Twice on my walk here I brushed off an inch of snow from my coat. Stupid wool. Shoulda worn the bomber.

The last time Calgary played San Jose in the playoffs there was a snowfall - that was in May, but...
This stuff will melt quickly. It's just like white rain. I love how everything is so muffled, it's like insulation.
Welcome to living at high altitudes!

I really like it when the fantastic CBC news break from hockey says some bs about 30% chance of light flurries.
HAHA - this is the most snow I think in one day this year.

Man, the kids must be loving this: warm weather, tons of heavy, wet snow. Perfect for making whatever you want and having it stay that way.

Waited fat my bus stop for about 45 mins, then went straight home. Even if it did show up traffic on 14th St. would have been stupid.
Work at home day!
One crappy thing, I need to crawl on the roof and brush off my dish, no signal right now.

The one bad/good thing about my work is that i'm usually at work at 6:30 am so even when it snows like this, I can still get there in good time because there isn't much traffic.

We'ren't they saying that we needed a big dump of snow like this or else there will be all kinds of brutal fire-bans for the camping season? I'd rather a day of snow than a summer without campfires...

Talk about crappy weather to wake up to. Man, I cant stand the weather in this city, and that is all four seasons in the year, not just spring. Wonder if the weekend forecast is still the same.

We do need the snow. And it won't last long. A great day to stay home and clean house.

I waited until 9:30, headed out to go downtown from the NW. Hit market mall, turned around - back at home. But... I have to go in at some point.. just waiting it out..
