I regularly go to BP's. Hudsons = expensive... but I do have some $5 gift certificates I can bring.

Seriously, say no to Hudson's. We went there tonight, and altogether I'd say nearly half the tables were Flames fans. I'm not kidding when I'd say a rep from every Flames table went to the bartender and bitched at LEAST once(we did about three or four times) to put the sound on...he told us - in the most apathetic, uncaring, brush me off voice I've ever heard - "No, only Oilers get sound". What a ******* d*****, I seriously couldnt believe they wouldnt put it on. Like if it's just me I understand, but half the bar?? Do you WANNA make money?? Even my Oiler fan buddies were complaining, we were all shocked. We were puttin up such a stink that at one point I seriously thought we were gonna get tossed. Anyways sorry for the rant, but that really p***** me off royal. I'm never goin there again, let them not make $$$ if they don't want to that badly. We need to organize a spot.

I guess the good news is that, because I had my last final exam tonite, I got so drunk that I barely remember the game. All's I remember is that every time I looked, SJ was on the PP. It's hard to follow a game when a) you're hammed, and b) during a Flames PK, all you can hear is Enrique Iglesias. Haha I seriously started yelling "Enrique?? ENRIQUE??? During the PLAYOFFS?!?"

Ya...I'm still a little hammed...PWI dontcha know

Man, I hate Edmonton. Anyone know a place where we could watch the game sound up...I live downtown and don`t mind being a DD to people who live around me or in the university area.

I would guess we could at avenue pizza just south of the earls by campus.

Ya that's actually where we watched the first period yesterday. You still could barely hear the sound because people kept usin the jukebox, but at least they had it on. I had never been in there before, haha it seems like a bit of a dive. But ya like you were sayin, rowdiness definitely isn't a problem there, actually they probably even expect it there. Cheap drink specials during the games too. I didnt grab any eats when I was there, but I was lookin over the menu and the prices seemed pretty reasonable too(I think everything was averagin out at around $8.25)

It inst the nicest place around, but it is no worse than dukes across from lister is. I have never failed to have a good time there. cheap beer, great pizza(second is half off with the right receipt from safeway), dart boards fr intermissions, buck hunt for the need to shoot things(we can pretend we are hunting sharks).

This is my vote for where we should go.

Works for me. I wouldnt mind gettin my darts on. Me and the boys used to always play that at the Barley Mill back when we were 18-19, but we haven't done it for years. I used to be able to hit that 20 like nobody's business.

Ha good ol' Dukes. Did you have that little 5 year old kid carrying teamers of beer to you too? Then there was Windsors where I had an 18 year old bartender hit on my friend and I, the only reason probably being that she didn't like the group of 50 year old men hitting on her so she came to my friend and I.

I'm down with avenue pizza, do they have any specials on pitchers? I'd be happy getting a couple pitchers and splitting it, I'm sort of short on cash at the moment.

last time i was there on a Sunday, we talked the waitress into giving us pitchers for happy hour prices. I'm sure we can swing something to that effect.

So it is now official. Because i said so. Avenue Pizza on sunday for the flames game. Be there or we will let CaptainCrunch and Fotze near your kids and family members.

Just use de-oderent and you'll stand out as being different from everyone else in the city. I'm sure the waitress will find it quite pleasant compared to regular clientele.

Flames Central should really franchise the concept and open a location in Edmonton. I'm sure public demand would be there and it would be highly successful.

This seems like good advice. We should all try to follow this solely for my benefit.

But for those interested, Avenue Pizza is where we are going. Bring friends f you want, the more the better. I hope to arrive sometime between 7:15 and 7:45 and will be wearing an old school red Nieuwendyk Jersey.
