I eat the same thing every day and pack three meals.
Snack - half can of tuna with 2 teaspoons of mayo in a whole wheat peta. Handfull of Almonds.
Lunch - 4 oz chicken breast, 2 slices of sprouted flax bread, half cup of carrots, 6 oz of V8.
Snack - Banana, 1 cup of yogurt, Protein shake.
I woudn't call any of it tasty. But it seems to keep me alive.

Here are some of my staples:
Superstore's "Blue Label" Black Bean soup. It's like $1.99, and tastes great. Good for you, pop top, easy to make, mu8ch better quality "soup in a can" than Chunky soup or other alternatives. Most days I have this, I bring some crispbread to have with it.
PC "Blue Label" yogurt with some kind of cereal dumped in it. Cereal with yogurt is always a favorite.
Some kind of microwaveable "noodle box," can't remember the brand names I usually get off the top of my head. I supplement this by throwing a handful of baby carrots, a stalk of broccoli, a red pepper, and any other assorted veggies into a ziploc bag. While the box is in the mic at work, I cut/wash the veggies, and add them to the noodles after they're done. Another 1 minute zap in the mic, and boom, done.
Uncle Ben's Pre-Cooked Rice (the 2 minutes in the microwave version) with frozen vegetables. I take a tupperware container and throw a handful or two of frozen mixed veggies in it. Usually some sort of "Asian mixed" variety (with water chestnuts, baby corn, snow peas, peppers, onions, etc.). A couple splashes of soya sauce and some "sambal halek" (spicy Indian hot sauce) in there next. When I get to work, 2 minutes for each thing (the veggies and the rice) in 2 different mic's, mix together, done.
Ambrosia apples
Berry flavored Lipton green tea

A couple weeks back, I hit Superstore and bought a bag of pitas, bag of lettuce, bag of carrot sticks, a couple tomatoes, some sliced turkey, a block of cheddar cheese, and some balsamic vinegrette. Stored it all in the office fridge and ate pitas with a side of salad and carrots for a week. It was rather tasty!

Today, I had:
- 3 sandwiches which were all the same (tuna, bit of mayo, black pepper, green onions and banana peppers)
- White rice with chicken breast, steamed asparagus and steamed broccoli.
- 1 banana, 1 apple
- Water
- And don't forget the best part... the after-lunch coffee!

I love it when I discover a generic item that tastes better than the expensive one. Superstore brand shrimp sauce is way better than any other brand I've bought. I also like Co-op brand iced tea mix better than Liptons.

That is totally sad as there is often nothing better than the cardiac arrest after a good extreme pita with chicken, mushrooms, extra pickles, pineapple, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, 1 spoon cheddar & 1 spoon feta with tzatziki & baba ghanoush......man I feel sleepy just thinking about that....

unless i eat a sandwich made at home (and even then, if it has veggies in it the price adds up, so it better only have pb and honey and jam and things that arent as expensive)..its cheaper to eat out (like at subway where they have the 5 dollar footlong special...i have a small appetite so i eat 6 inches for lunch and save the other 6 inches for dinner or to eat for lunch the next day). and i buy the drinks in bulk at costco to save money

I eat whatever my wife puts in my lunch. Usually a bunch of fruit, pie, cake, cookies, pepperoni stick and whatever was for dinner the night before.

I'm surprised nobody brings liquid hookers in a thermos and sprinkles blow on their sandwiches.

Alright to change the vibe a bit here's a recipe you can throw together to make a couple of day's worth of lunches.
1 500g pack of egg noodles
100g of snow peas (the bags are usually 200g)
3-4 handfulls of bean sprouts
1 red pepper, sliced very thin
diced hot peppers to taste
diced cilantro to taste
dressing:
1 part sesame oil
1 part peanut butter
2 parts thai chili sauce
1 part garlic oil
juice of 2 limes
Fry the noodles in sesame oil very lightly (5 minutes) and throw everything into a big bowl. Mix together, serve. Takes 15 minutes and makes 3-5 servings. Woo! If I'm inspired tomorrow I'll share a chick pea salad that takes even less time.

The President's Choice Blue Label Lentil soup is good too. I do like the black bean too. Makes a great lunch.

My lunches vary a lot. One week I could eat nothing but sandwiches, pizza pockets, chef boyardee or chunky (the gumbo is awesome!). Next week would be all homecooked meals that are leftover from dinner (curry, stews, stir fry's etc).
One thing I absolutely must have though, is a Powerade as the day is winding down.

Today its mushroom & pancetta risotto.

I usually try to bring left overs, otherwise I make a couple sandwiches, or some variation of Mr.noodles or a microwavable pasta dish. I usually toss in two yogurts, turkey pepperoni, cheese, granola, bar and some juice.
