Crap. I'm going to the soccer center right now.

The two-lane rural roads were good enough for 100-120 kmh in a Durango this afternoon . . . .

Most problems on the road are caused by driver error and NOT the weather.

Learn to drive or stay home.

I live 5 minutes from work and I travel down backroads, and there were 7 accidents.

um, the intersections are pretty damn icy all over, thanks to being polished by rush hour traffic and the lack of city snow plow and gravel crews

Holy horsef'ers. What a day... Locke, bite me. I'd have laughed at your joke any other day of the week, but today was a total sh1tshow.
This afternoon on 16th, within two minutes, a guy cut over two lanes to make an emergency (brake slamming) right turn into the goddamn Starbucks across from SAIT, then another SOB slammed on his brakes because he missed the left turn lane for 14th st S.
Bedlam. Total chaos on the roads today. Some stupid teenager ran across Elbow Drive in front of Wisewood and I nearly made him wormfood. Then there were a half dozen cars trying to make their way up James Mckevitt from Mcleod. I got out to tow a guy up the hill and ended up pushing 7 or 8 cars. Idiots that just spin their tires. What a mess.
Then there was the ass-humper that was stuck in the very same turning lane off Mcleod onto Mckevitt that figured his time was more valuable than everyone else's... The lane is at a dead stop and he pulls out into ~60KPH traffic at 4:30. People are slamming on their brakes and this dipsh1t is pinning it (spinning his tires) to get up to speed.

Murderous. I want to kill people. I just don't understand how people are so goddamn stupid. Where do these morons get their licenses?

It wasnt a joke.

Yesterday I coached a practice, today I coached a game. I was actually leaving my house to go to the soccer center when I posted that.

Out of 16 kids, only 9 actually made it to the game tonight.

I also had a semi-truck pull a 'Tokyo' drift right in front of me turning left onto Barlow off of Glenmore.

The industrial area was World War III. Completely insane, and at 6:00 absolutely ZERO roadwork. No Sand. No Gravel. Nothing. It was semi-truck icecapades out there.

I had a lot of places to be yesterday, so I couldn't stay home. It was probably the worst driving experience I've ever had. I was waiting for a flashing arrow at an intersection, and of course, I was caught up on pure ice. I wanted to reverse, so I could find a different path to drive on, rather than just tread the ice. Unfortunately, the jerk behind me wouldn't move and he thought it would be helpful to flash his high beams at me and honk his horn. Bite me, Acura!

Every road I drove on was horrible, other than 9th Ave West. It was decent.

Be careful outside and if you really do need to get somewhere, just be careful and don't get distracted.

TO the dickhead in the F250 loaded with welding gear last night coming off dearfoot onto 64th ave. Get your goddamn lights fixed. His low beams didn't work so he drove around with his high beems on. He also drove down the shoulder of the road trying to pass peoplebecause they weren't doing 60k on shear ice. Jack a**

Nyone know how the roads are this morning? Partically up to Airdrie. I figure the Deerfoot shuold be okay becaue carmacks does a pretty bang up job on it. It's out side the City I'm concerned about.

You should have stopped and said hi. We were on the East field.

You would have recognized my coaching style.
