You Don't Know How It Feels is my favorite. Don't mind Saving Grace from his newest album either.
Should be a good show.

Tickets start at $59.50.
With the required TickeMaster Bum Reaming Charges it'll probably end up to be about $75-80 a ticket, bare minimum. I actually thought it would be worse, but that is for a seat in the rafters.
They go up to $259.50.

I believe the $259.60 is for the the "Dream Package".

Tom Petty is one of the few artists that you can buy a CD and know your getting your moneys worth. Even though he's a big name, I think he's still under rated. Great to see he's playing the Super Bowl and I can't wait to see him this summer.
For me:
Best album - Wildflowers
Best song - You Wreck Me
Most underrated - Echo, Square One, Southern Accent, Crawling Back to You

Anyone else get their tickets?
I signed up for the fanclub and got my password right away, $40 for a year. Figured it was worth it. Snagged 4 tickets in the 22nd row.
Also going up to Edmonton the next day.

I didn't want the floor. I had to wait awhile before best available moved into section 108. That's a decent spot to sit for a show. I got 4 in 108 and 2 in 122. I could have got 1st or 2nd row on the floor if I was prepared to shell out more than $250 for a ticket.
I also bought tickets for the Sat. Aug 16 show at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. Row 9, Section B (middle).

I'm jacked! I've just read reviews of the Toronto, Pemberton and Winnipeg shows. All very, very positive. Steve Winwood also getting raves. Winwood opens with a 60 minute set followed by a 2 hours of Tom Petty. One reviewer called it "All killer, no filler".

I saw him in Pemberton. He was the highlight of the festival.

It was definitely an awesome show, even though I only got to hear it. He pulled out all the classics.

Great show last night, and it is up there for being the loudest I've ever heard the Saddledome which is saying a fair bit.

Simply amazing, what a show. So glad I bought tickets to see them againup in the dump.
Says alot about how much material he's written when he can play for 2 hours, deliver nothing but jems and still leave out entire albums like "Echo", "Let Me Up", "Hard Promises","She's the One" and "Last DJ".
"You Don't Know How It Feels", "Into the Great Wide Open", or "The Waiting" would have been nice. I'm a huge fan of the Last DJ album and Let Me Up, too bad.

I've been to a lot of concerts and festivals and this is definitely the best show I've seen. Loved it when he dipped into the Wilburys and played "End of the Line". So many talented musicians in that band.

Awesome! I used to listen to the Wilbury's all the time when I'd be heading out to BC when I was really little. Definitely enjoy that song.

I've seen a lot of concerts in my day and last night could very well be the top of that long list.
I've never been to a show where it was top notch songs from start to finish, including the opening act. Winwood was great and Petty was simply fantastic.
As Kryzky said, the only songs missing where The Great Wide Open, The Waiting and You Don't Know What It's Like. Too bad, because it wouldn't have been much to slip in another three songs.
Even still, it was an absolutely amazing night of music.

There's so much though. You could even add Don't Do Me Like That, Yer So Bad, Walls, etc. The man has so much material and with the way the concert went I don't think there's anyway people wouldn't have been left wanting more.

You're right. Everybody I've talked to about the concert has mentioned another classic tune that I hadn't thought of. Goes to show how talented and successful the man is.
