he's the only reason to watch that show, Jeremy Piven is one of the great unheralded actors working today (PCU is a classic). i stopped watching it after halfway through the first season though because every other character was so dull, and Piven wasn't used nearly enough

From Season One, when Ari Gold walks into Josh Weinstein's party, and jsut bloody OWNS HIM!!!

"You know what other thing I learned at Harvard?? Business ethics....., I DON'T STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S MOTHER F'N CLIENTS, but for you I'm gonna make an exception, Im gonna take everybody, your B level sitcom stars, your reality TV writers, by the end of it, you're gonna be repping sideshow freaks. You need Joe Joe the dog faced bitch boy?? Call Josh Wein%^&%, the lightweight pen stealing %^&^%face...

AWESOME!!!

a close second place,

" I don't care what you're doing for the rest of the day, your sole mission in life is to find Johnny Drama a job. I don't care if he is being gang raped by a gaggle of silverback apes, find the man a job!!!

One of my favs.. from season 3...

" So you know.. After the year that I’ve had, and on the most important day of my life, you think that she would ask me what I wanted!? You know, a nice bj perhaps. Where I could just site back for the first time in nine months and do nothing but admire the top of her head, and *prey* that this f*****g movie opens so I can stop selling off assets like we’re f*****g Micheal Jackson."

Drama is a classic i think as well... he has some funny ass lines

Best Drama line was from this past season, when Eric accuses him of being mean and he replies,

"no, what's mean is when I made Jennifer Smith(cant remember name) ride her bike home after I ass f#$%ed her.

And both because of the characters as much as the story - Ari Gold being a prime example. BRILLIANT work.

You have to add Weeds and Californication to that list as well, I'd say.

When meeting Lloyd at a gay club to try and lure him back.....Ari says:

"This is an area of the city I only drive through really really fast".

My favorite moment is when he's supposed to fire his employee who just got laser eye surgery and his long-time girlfriend broke up with him.

Ari can't fire him, and then later in the episode.....to prove he hasn't lost 'it', gives one of the patented cruel Ari Gold moments.....writing "get the **** out!" on the blackboard just after the guy regains his vision. Absolutely priceless.

The cameos also make that show, IMO.

The ones with Gary Busey are outrageous.

Just actually picked up this show last night and watched it for the first time ever, I'm actually embarassed I hadn't seen a full episode before. Already finished off the entire 8 episode first season, pure gold! I swear I love every single major character on that show.

I'm gonna be sayin "Let's hug it out" all summer, easy.

Ari Gold brings me to tears

[after his Viagra has kicked in, to his angry wife] "I'm ready to go here, all right? It's like R. Kelly at recess"

Ari, getting a ride home from Lloyd..."I drove to work in an $80,000 Mercedes, and I'm going home in a prop car from the fast and the furious"

"That was a good speech, Lloyd. If I was 25 and liked cack, we could be something"

"I always knew you liked dick Barbara, I just didn't know you were a cacksucker"

And "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"

As for a favourite quote, I'm a fan of this one, when Ari and his wife are talking about the soap opera she is returning to.

Ari's Wife: Tell me that it's exiting, and that if I did it I would be good
Ari: It's a soap opera baby... there is no good, there's just degrees of bad.
Ari's Wife: Well, then tell me that I would be pretty. As pretty as the day I left the show.
Ari: Well you left the show when you were 25 baby and now they shoot everything in hi-def

Also from the Yom Kippur epiode

Sarah: I hate this, I'm starving.
Ari: Now you know what Mommy goes through every day to make a hot body for Daddy.
