Unfortunately, the world is littered with the corpses of older gentlemen who stubbornly refused to seek medical treatment for ailments that would put most of us under the table.
The "why" of that kind of thinking is hard to fathom for those younger but it exists nonetheless.
I suspect that is the only reason Nekhara hasn't already tossed his dad, hands and feet bound to prevent a struggle, gag across the mouth to silence the screams of protest, into the back of the old man's station wagon for the trip to emergency.
What else can you say but "GO . . . . TO . . . . . THE . . . . . DOCTOR . . . . OLD . . . . . MAN!!!"
