No Crown though. Ever since Seagrams turned it from a twelve year to an 18 month rye, it's not the same. I will take CC over Crown any day.

If you haven't tried it yet go get yourself a bottle of Centennial Rye. It comes with a cork you can't miss it. It is brewed locally by Highwood (it's not Highwood rye- it is their high end they started doing a few years ago). The only negative is it only comes in a 26. If you are planning a good night (maybe a great night) pick up two bottles. It is the same price as Crown but it makes Crown taste like distilled dog water.

You can't go wrong with Gibsons either.

When did this happen? I love Crown, but I've been working on the same big boy bottle since my stag almost a 2 years ago... It's starting to look very empty, and I'm going to have to replace it.

Is there really that much of a difference in Crown?
