If I was on death row, I'd order one of everything.

As far as a last meal before dying goes, screw fancy. Give me a steak, baked potato and a ton of sour cream.

Dear God, do they really still call them that in the States? I haven't heard that expression in almost five years. Or is that just because this particular incident was in Texas? Either way, how hilariously stupid.

Well, Texas is awfully conservative.

I'd have a Trad to start, along with 2 dozen hot wings (the big Flintstone-sized ones, not the scrawny 10 cent ones). Then prime rib (medium rare), a steak (medium rare), and maybe a pepperoni/bacon/feta pizza from Greco's if I could stuff that down as well, along with more Trad.

For dessert, a Drambuie and my mom's chocolate cake.

Vegetables? Fruit? Bah!

This would actually do in a pinch, demae ramen instant noodles, sesame oil flavor:

If I had to choose a real meal...it would be a genuine English breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, and fried tomato slices with a glass of orange juice and a pot of earl grey. Perhaps some toast as well with butter and Lyle's Golden Syrup.

I would probably eat the entire jar of golden syrup. Then follow up with a pack of Winstons and Irish Creme coffee.

A corned beef the size of my head, boiled potatoes and cabbage with a side of spicy mustard. Oh and about 16 pints of Boddington's. Id eat it all on the home goal line at St. James' Park, home of Newcastle United.

So, the three dozen or so Wendy's Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers is out?

I love Anthony Bourdain. Reading Kitchen Confidential was one of the influences I had towards choosing a culinary career. The Chef I'm working for right now asked me the same question during my interview and it's the easiest answer in the world for me.

Gallo en Chicha

Traditional Salvadoran dish made with rooster, Salvadorean chicha(fermented beverage made of corn and pineapple husks) and panela(an unrefined solid piece of sucrose and fructose made from sugarcane juice). A simple comparison would be a localized version of Coq-au-vin. The gallo en chicha is a blend of the European influences, Salvadoran ingredients and cooking traditions, resulting in a delicious creolle dish. It has a deep earthy flavor with a hint of sweetness.
My grandmother used to make this every Christmas and as of a few years ago my mom makes it for me on my birthday every year. Definitely what I would have as my last meal.

I imagine the last meals for most of us will be hospital jello.

Well Thanksgiving Dinner is my favorite dinner of the year so i'd have a turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, apple pie and double chocolate mousse cake.

I do also absolutely love wings/steak so i'd also need hot wings with ranch sauce, and a nice big juicy Alberta steak washed down with some Heineken's and Milk. My family, friends and I would make it all and i'd honestly just eat it at my childhood home with all my family/friends with me.

It was hospital apple sauce in my dad's case. Although it was a pure coincidence, apple sauce had always been one of his favourite foods.

Hmm... tough question.

I think I'd start with two nice and crusty French baguettes (the real kind, made in a bakery not a grocery store), with an assortment of cured meats (prosciutto, capicola, salami, etc), cheeses (brie, aged cheddar, goat cheese, etc), and pates (foie gras, mushroom, red pepper, etc) to spread on the bread. And a bottle of nice red wine to go with it.

For the main course, I'd go for crab. The kind I used to buy right from the fishermen when I lived in Norway. And lots of shrimp and cocktail sauce, any mayo on the side. And a couple of pints of lager to wash it down.

For dessert, a cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing and a black coffee and a couple of truffles.

Edit: As for the place, I would be served all this by an assortment of beautiful nude women on private plane flying over the ocean. When it came time for my execution, they would shove me out of the plane.

I'd have a peanut butter chocolate shake ( totally the best thing I've ever had in my life), an italian pizza ( basil, good cheese and tomato sauce),I'd have peri peri fries from safari grill, a vietnamese sub ( the one found in the small corner place by China town), sate beef skewers, a peppercorn steak with rock lobster, a cheesecake I'd have firecracker shrimp, my moms okra, chocolate moose ... i'll think of more
