Yes, I believe he called them (different name for a cat) magnets, or something to that effect. That was still probably the best concert I;ve ever seen. Most concerts (even really good bands) have their ups and downs throughout the night, this concert was just pure energy from start to finish.

Life changing concert for me 
I don't see why everyone thinks that the foo are snubbing Calgary. First off, they personally don't book the tours. And with the tour dates, there was no time for Calgary. Its simple. I'm not hurt by it, and I think people are over reacting. <- hey look. Legit input!

I told my friend who lives in EDM to get us tickets, I knew the presale PW or whatever you call it...
I havent heard back, so Im not 100% sure if I'm going yet or not. Hopefully I am!

Haha, I don't know if you can really "plug" something you volunteer to do hahaha. Anywho, ya, count me in the group that wants the Foo Fighters to come to Calgary. I really like seeing the great bands that are huge right now, like Green Day, and these guys, and other humungous acts with true staying power.

The Foo Fighters concert was one of the very best I've ever seen, and Dave Grohl gives it all the whole night. Fantastic performer.
That said, I cant travel around the country to see them, if they come here I'm in.
Now, if only Dave Grohl could get Tenacious D to open and tour with them it would be the greatest concert experience of all time!!!
They also put on a great show....

but i would have more success with a Foo Fighters classic lines thread.

You gotta focus less on whats going on and focus more in your own world and how you feel about being the supreme overlord of your own world's universe man.....

Woohoo! Great thread ... I hadn't even bothered to look and see if they were touring again. Low and behold, they're playing in Chicago on a day when there's no hockey game, at the same venue I saw them last time. It was probably the best concert I've ever gone to.
Any idea who's going to be opening/touring with them?
