I don't like boxing day... but most places have boxing week now, so when you go after new years when everyone is back at work then it's pretty easy going to find what you want. plus by then some store have re-stocked.

Dry denim is your friend when it comes to jeans. Wear em day in and day out without washing them and you'll get some sweet custom fades going on. I refuse to wear any prewash jeans anymore. Sure dry will set you back a little more but it's well worth it.

P.S. for the love of God, please do not buy and Sevens, True Religion, Diesel or any brands like the following. They are absolutley hideous.

Go to HENRY on fourth st, you get to pick a ornament from the tree to see what discount you can get. Discount goes from 50 to 250 off your purchased item, only thing is your minimum puchase has to be 250.

I'm obsessed with True Religion jeans.

You can get them at Harry Rosen.

Only thing that sucks is that they cost about $150 in the states and around $250-$300 here

Thanks, keep them coming. I'm not a big style guru by any stretch, I just love Jeans, it's all I wear. And I love girls who wear Jeans, man nothing like a tight butt in a good pair of jeans.

you must be a superfuture board member.

I also love dry denim. Depends on why you want the jeans though. Dry denim will eventually result in a faded look, which I think looks awesome, but will not go over well at "dressier" or more urban clubs.

I wear dry denim day to day, but when I got to certain clubs I throw on a pair of diesels. Before deciding what brand and style always decide why you want the jeans first.

edit: I agree w/ you on the hate for true religion though. Plus I think that brand is no longer trendy, so if that is your goal don't waste the money

haha yeah i am on superfuture along with mynudies. I disagree with your statement that raw denim does not go over well at dressier or more urban clubs. Dark denim seems to be in style right now so a newer pair with no fades would go over just fine. Also with the urban scene that's exactly what dry denim is unless your talking about urban/hiphop in which case dry denim also works (Jay-z and Lebron James both have a pair of the Sufu Wearhouse Contest Jeans)

Anyways what kind of raw denim do you have right now blankall?

And seriously guys why all the love for True Religion?

you can pick em up at alot of different places. In Calgary you probably won't see much other than Nudie Jeans which I believe you can get at Holt. There's a few places online like denimbaronline.com where you can get some other more mainstream brands for cheap if you use the "style4um" discount which gives you thirty percent off. If you want some more obscure brands you'll either have to go through Blue In Green in New York or Self Edge in San Fransico or get someone to proxy some over to you from Japan.

Edit: Before you get into dry denim you may want to ask yourself if your willing to go longer periods of time without washing your jeans and wearing your jeans for 6-12 months straight before they look as good as some of the ones you'll see on sufu

I have 2 pairs of Banana Republic jeans. Very nice, although after numerous washes the tiny marks that gave them their "worn out" look seem to expand into more of real rips. Not cool...

Basically it's unwashed, undistressed, unfaded denim. When you wear raw denim you form crease which over time fade to give you a more custom jean.

Basically you can go from a super dark blue pair of jeans to this:

Mind you these are some of the best faded jeans i've ever seen and it would take a ton of wear to come close to this

Looks like Samurai ripped off the big leather tag location, the red pocket tag location and size and the stitching style on the back pockets. Levi should sue their ass.

Ha ha it's funny 'cause all the jeans you hate are probably my favourite ones lol.

7 for alls, True Religions, Acnes and R&Rs are the main ones I have in my wardrobe. Diesels are in there as well, but I haven't bought a new pair of Diesels in almost a year now.

As for why, I like the fit for all the brands I mentioned and for True Religion specifically, I like the back pockets.

There is seriously a brand name called Acne? I bet they're real popular among teens.
