1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
I don't enjoy my job, but its not bad. I work with genuinely nice people and the coolest boss I've ever had. I like that I got the hours I wanted and that I can have any time off I need for travel and tournaments. I'm not a morning person, so I'll never enjoy waking up for anything.
2. If you answered no to (1), why do you continue at your job? What don't you like about you job? Why don't you choose a different company or a different field?
I work to help pay for my kid's hockey. Down here youth hockey is very expensive, club hockey is ridiculously expenisve. My biggest complaint about my job is that I have too much down time and get quite bored. The position was barely created when my resume landed there. There's no formal job description and ideally they may have been better off waiting six months or a year to hire someone for it.
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
Security is not important. I tend to get jobs pretty easily so I know something else would come along.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
Most days I'm pretty tired. I can't blame it all on work. Straight after work I'm typically running kids to the rink or dryland or something. Its not unusual to leave my house at 7am and not see it again until 9PM, it gets tiring.
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
Not at all. Even though the field isn't that interesting, my coworkers are awesome and make the day way more fun than it probably should be.

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
No. It sucks. Mornings don't bother me.
2. If you answered no to (1), why do you continue at your job? What don't you like about you job? Why don't you choose a different company or a different field?
Because I have decent holidays and a mortgage and family to support. I also don't know if I would want to continue in this field, even at a different company.
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
Yep, security is huge.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
My bike ride home usually reinvigorates me.
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
More disappointed than depressed. Like Dis, I regret some earlier choices.

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
A: Yes, I enjoy my job
B: I do not mind waking up to go to work, I only work essentially two days a week (2 16 hr shifts + an overnight 8 hour shift)
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
Security is important, it is very difficult to get a job in my profession, so keeping it is a priority. I also enjoy being able to take some unexpected time off (sick kids, etc.) and not be concerned about losing my job.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
Usually tired, due to the duration of shifts, or the overnighter. Though I always seem to find time to hit a couple message boards...
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
Not at all. I enjoy what I do, my co-workers, and I feel like an essential part of something important.

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
Love it, when I have a day off I feel like I just need to go into work. I'm rarely bored with work, each day is rarely the same. However, when I first wake up...I would turn down alot of things to get some more sleep.
2. If you answered no to (1), why do you continue at your job? What don't you like about you job? Why don't you choose a different company or a different field?
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
I don't have security in my job. I work in the media, people are constantly let go for poor numbers or performance. However, I am confident in my own abilities that if I am let go, I will be able to find another job in the field with a different city, station or company.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
most of the time I feel fine. The job isn't very stressful. When I know I'm having a good 'on' day it energizes me.
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
nope, if anything not working makes me depressed.

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
Yes, and yes--because I don't have to wake up in the AM if I don't want to in most cases.
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
I do value job security, but there is none in my job. In my line of work I wake up most days "unemployed" and I go look for "jobs" to do. I guess you could say a large part of my job is to look for one.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
A little bit of all? It's a different experience everyday.
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
When I can't find anything to do during the slow times, yeah...but for the most part no.

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
I just got a promotion and my new title is Sales and Marketing Manager. I like it because i pretty much can do whatever I want as long as my goals/targets are met. I don't even get into work until 10 am and leave at 3 pm because I "work from home" the other hours. I DO work the other hours, but I do it from home, in my comfy clothes and with my doggies at my feet. I get to work when I feel like it. It rocks. Yes, I like waking up in the morning and going to it.
2. If you answered no to (1), why do you continue at your job? What don't you like about you job? Why don't you choose a different company or a different field?
I recently switched jobs and so if I was still working in my old position I would hate it. But I found a career that I'm good at....I'm a
"people person" and I'm creative. I hate working with anything too analytical or scientific, so I'm glad I switched. I also work in the non profit sector now so that feeling of helping people is AWESOME!
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
Job security is important, however, I'm married and my husband works so it's not too bad if I didn't have my job. The market in San Jose is great, and I have a degree, so I'm confident that I could find something similar elsewhere in the area if I somehow lost my job. However, I work in non profit and I help people..that feeling is truly satisfying.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
I work in Marketing/Sales where I try to increase awareness of the services offered by the non profit company I work for. Our goal is to help people with illnesses/disabilities/injuries....so I feel awesome at the end of the day
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
Nope, not at all. I dont make as much money as I would if I worked for Corporate America, however, luckily my husband makes enough money for the both of us....and I still make a good chunk I help people, and it's amazing!

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
I enjoy my job and enjoy the fact that I can see it becoming a career. With it being my first job out of Uni, I feel quite fortunate to have a job I like. Somedays I don't enjoy it, because it can be very demanding and stressful. Days off are never guaranteed and leaving your work at the office is impossible.
2. If you answered no to (1), why do you continue at your job? What don't you like about you job? Why don't you choose a different company or a different field?
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
Security is mildly important to me, but I am/would be willing to sacrifice it to take risks. I don't plan on having a secure career. I plan on taking risks and them paying off.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
All of the above. Some days I have a great buzz, and others I'm dead tired with back pain. Some days I'm chilled out and relaxed.
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
No, just stressed.

I find it really interesting that of all the people that say 'no' to #1, they all say 'because the money is to good to leave.' But if everyone is making money that is 'to good to leave' then wouldnt that suggest that everywhere is paying good, and anyone that said 'no' could find a better job with equal pay. I know its not nearly that straight forward, but I just found that alittle odd.

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
Most of the time. No, I loathe waking up at the time I do. Am definitely not a morning person.
2. If you answered no to (1), why do you continue at your job? What don't you like about you job? Why don't you choose a different company or a different field?
I answered yes, but I have just started in my career path, so I'm putting in my time in order to get the experience I need to advance. If I don't like what I'm doing in the future, I will not hesitate to switch jobs or fields.
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
Security is very important to me, pretty much the reason I enjoy the company I'm at.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energitic?
Tired, most probably because of the lack of sleep, the caffeine wearing off and sometimes stress with work.
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
Nope, sometimes stressed, but not depressed.

1. Do you enjoy working at your job? Do you like waking up in the morning and going to your job?
You know what? I don't know if I enjoy my job. It's my first out of university, and there's reasons for liking it and reasons for hating it.
Do I like waking up in the morning and going to my job? No. Mainly because I had the pleasure of doing that in the South Pacific, and it's much more enjoyable... trust me.
2. If you answered no to (1), why do you continue at your job? What don't you like about you job? Why don't you choose a different company or a different field?
I continue at my job because I get a relatively good amount of money for little amounts of work. Plus, it doesn't hurt when my father is a Principal in the firm, haha. I don't enjoy it, because a) my job facilitates other people to be able to do their work (and I want to do real work), and b) it's not my career.
1) It's hard to find a different job right now, mainly because I'm picky and just haven't looked all that hard. I know they're out there (I work in downtown Calgary, and would like to stay downtown), but I don't know where to start. Lots of jobs are just looking for experienced people and not recent graduates. Oil and Gas, Development, etc.. I'll try anything right now.
2) I think I way know what I want my career to be in - Sports Management or gaming, or business within the high-tech sector. Of course, Calgary isn't conducive any of these industries.
3. Is security important to you in your job? Do you value security, or do you fear not having security?
Security isn't usually important to me. Right now it is though, because I own a condo and have credit card debt and have a girlfriend, but once the debt is paid off, I'd love to sell my condo and move back to somewhere in the South Pacific or Asia. Down there, just work at whatever job I can find. I have a business degree, but the average person doesn't realize how much difference your working atmosphere can make when you've lived and worked in a westernized, semi-tropical location. It's just so much more enjoyable, IMO.
4. How do you feel at the end of the day at your job? Tired? Great? Energetic?
I feel fine. My job isn't stressful in any way, and being in architecture the industry is young, hip, urban and contemporary (well, evolving into this). In such a busy industry, there's surprisingly little amounts of suits / corporatism as compared to other industries here. This is a free-thinking industry with lots of room for creativity, independence and style.
5. A little sensitive, does your job make you depressed?
No. But knowing it's not a career, I always have the idea in the back of my mind that I will have to leave soon.
