I would do that. However the main reason for the trip to Phoenix is to see an NFL game. By the time the Cardinals game ends, and we get out of there, I might be able to catch the tail end of the 4th quarter.

Wooooooo!!! Nice win by the Riders. To bad for Glenn to break his arm. Cameron Wake is great, 4 sacks in one game, ties a playoff record i think. Lets go Riders, Lets Go!! Can't wait for next weekend.

Ken, you should scalp your Cards tickets! Riders - Bombers Grey Cup will come around less often than Haley's Comet.

Since I still bleed green I'm pumped about the Rider win. Oddly enough though I've had a soft spot in my heart for Winnipeg so I wouldn't begrudge them a win...and I would be very happy for Stegall, class guy.

Oh, and no matter how much us in Alberta want to say we're not part of the prairies, we officially are. http://atlas.nrcan.gc.ca/site/englis...irie_provinces

I assumed that the Cards game would be over by then. Must be one those late afternoon contests. I envy you, btw, the game I saw was in the Tempe Sun Devils stadium. I hear the new stadium is pretty awesome.

Enjoy your trip you lucky so and so

Sucks that they appear to have moved the Grey Cup up a few hours. It used to start at 6:00pm MST, but this year it looks like it's at 6:00pm EST. With the Cards game starting at 2:00pm MST, you'll have to find a Canadian friendly Sports Bar close to the Stadium, and you'll still only see the end of the game.

EDIT: ...And another thing...Shame on you for booking a trip to the States for Grey Cup Sunday.

I almost made the same mistake in 2005. At halftime of the Western Final (when the Stamps were destroying the Esks), I was starting to scramble to find out where I'd be able to watch the game in Anaheim. Then, Maas went in and the Stamps collapsed, so it wasn't an issue. I did find out that ESPN Zone at Disneyland showed the Grey Cup on one of their many tv's. That won't help you in Phoenix, but if they have any giant sports bars near the Stadium, that would probably be your best bet.

It doesn't look like any of the Coyotes are from Saskatchewan, or I'd suggest going to crash their party.

Yeah, I really should have paid better attention to the date of the NFL game. However even if I had noticed; what are the odds the Bombers would have been in the cup? (The trip was decided upon in August.) Plus, had I gone for any of the other options, I would not have had a chance to see my first ever Coyotes home game; something this old Jets fan has been talking about since the proposed team name was the Arizona Jets.

And scalping the ticket isn't an option. A- we don't have 4 seats together; it's two sets of 2, so that would leave a buddy by himself and then me by myself. B- it's the point of the trip. I didn't spend $400 on airfare and $200 on hotel to watch a Bombers game in a sports bar in Arizona.

My plan is to record the game, and watch it Monday when I get back. It shouldn't be hard to avoid seeing a score while in the States; I'm just worried about the Westjet flight back, and the front pages of newspapers I'll see on my way home.

I was the Lions game...BC threw the game away with 5 turnovers..resulting in 16 riders points...that was the game there...great season, and one bad game...dissapointing...atleast the Canucks win made me happy
