Mark Stephen says 2:30.

Petrie says Barker will stay on in a Player Personnel role, but will carry out the same things he has done which include contract negotiation, salary cap and scouting. He just loses the GM title.

Higgins...I don't know. Hopefully they found a spot for him in the Office somewhere. He is a good person and a good football mind. His time as a coach is up for the Stamps, but he'd be a benefit to the Org in an office role IMO.

That is crazy! Did the teams end up getting fined or anything for that?

No, the C in CFL stands for Hugh Campbell.

Higgins is no longer HC, and declined a front office job.

Personally I'm hoping Hufnagel comes in and takes over without any interference from Helland et. al. Let the football guys handle the club!!!

Good, his ability to evaluate talent is non-existant. The players he's gotten rid of could probably make a good enough team to beat the one he left here.

This is great news. Higgins is an excellent assistant coach. Nothing more.

This team is still recovering from letting Wally go/bringing in the Fetari/Fedoruk circus. Really is amazing what managementcan do. Probably would be the dominant team of the 90's and 2000's if not for those mistakes.

I remember back in the Wally Buono era people asking for his head or for him to take one job, GM or coach. I miss the 3 Grey Cups and consistant regular season teams.

while letting Higgins go was probally the right move, I still don't like how stuff went down. Doesn't feel right.

The Stamps definitely could have handled the situation better...it came of much like the Fateri/Feterik circus that we dealt with before. I miss the stability and class that a guy like Buono brought to the Stamps.

Ultimately, Higgins was the wrong coach but there also are significant issues with the team. They have too much money and "talent" locked up at receiver and not enough depth on D.
