Your right, that would never happen in soccer. It would happen a million times over on the streets before and after the game, and all over the stands. But not on the field, the 'athletes' would have faked massive injuries before it could have happened.

I never saw the game or much of the highlights, however Eddie Bronze is right, the Atlantic Media Institute filmed the game. They have a partnership with the Halifax Wolverines to broadcast the games giving the Wolverines some exposure, and in turn AMI gets to give their students broadcasting experience.

Ironically a buddy of mine who I grew up with who is going to AMI currently was doing play-by-play for that game. I haven't been talking to him since (I've been uber busy lately) however I'm gonna see if I can get a copy of the game tape, or at very least the call.

*IF* I can get it, anyone know where I could host it?
