Yeah pretty much if you see the "BIOWARE" tag, pick up the game, because it will be a damned good one.

I hope it stays that way. They were bought out by EA last month.

Usually EA is good with allowing their newly acquired studios to function on their own... at least for a couple years. Then, they procede to ruin them.

Hopefully though, EA takes a look at Bioware's business model and actually learns something from it.

^^ Sorry to semi derail the thread, but in regards to Bioware, is anyone else absolutely going nuts at hearing the news that they and Lucas-Arts just announced they are creating a game together. Most people think its going to be a Star Wars MMO, except done right, as opposed to the abomination that was Star Wars Galaxies. Probably set in the same timeline as KOTOR, where jedi and sith are more common, man, I can't wait.

Well, Bioware did the original KOTOR.

As mentioned before Baldur's Gate II and Planetscape Torment are great classics. Fallout II is probably the best classic of them all for this type of game. If you have a good enough video card I highly recommend Titan Quest. Beware though Titan Quest has been known to be prone to crash.
