I've heard good things about these. You can use two usb connections to power the drive on the road as well.

Hmm. Tempted, this is being typed on a MacBook pro. I love Apple and all their products, I do use Windows machines too. I do think that I am not geting full use out of this macbook, next task I am goignt o try to do is some digital video editing!!

We picked up an iMac a few weeks ago, and it is quite simply all it is supposed to be! We are thrilled with it thus far....as long as it never needs servicing I expect that we will continue to be! (I've heard nightmares about the servicing, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed)

Reggie, I read you can plug in the external harddrive to a xtreme airport and then format it to automatically store all your time machine files there....On any computer in your network. Probably the most amazing part of leopard I've read yet.

I've learned my lesson buying anything right away. I got the new iMac as soon as it came out and I still have that annoying freezing that Mac supposedly is working to fix. I'll wait a few weeks before upgrading to Leopard.
