Can't remember last time I really watched a commercial. I remember in the Lost TV thread last year people complaining about the commercial breaks, but just breezing through them in 5 seconds is so nice. I just wish there was a 30 second skip button.

On Shaw, there is. It's the grey button on the left above all the other playback controls. The one that says "SKIP" above it. Hit it 4 or 5 times when a show goes to break and you should be good. If you overshoot the start of the show by a bit, hit the button below it (the counter-clockwise arrow) and it jumps back about 15 seconds.

Yes. the best move i have ever made! hehe. My bell contract is not due to end until end of November but i couldn't wait. I got my shaw hd pvr about 2 months ago.

I do find the HD picture clearer on bell though. But who cares. I will never have to deal with their pathetic customer service again after November.
