Ackles: NFL in Toronto means end of CFL

If Toronto wants an NFL team they'll need to build a proper stadium there. IMO the Rogers centre might have been cool in 1989, but by today's standards it's a heap of junk. It would require very significant reno's, more suites and about 15,000 more seats. They'll never put an NFL team in Canada for the simple reason that No one will ever build a suitable stadium in Canada and keep it up to date.

Skydome aka Rogers Centre was obsolete when it opened in 1989. It was the last cookie-cutter facility before baseball and football teams started building single-purpose stadiums.

I have travelled to other cities specifically to watch baseball and football. I would not travel to Toronto only to watch a game at Skydome. I can't imagine a more unpleasant sports experience.
